Not Without You - A Stucky Fanfic

Chapter Fourteen

The past four days flew by for Steve. He wished they lasted longer since he wouldn't be seeing Bucky and his friends for a week, but they went by, nonetheless.

The past few days have been jam packed with things Bucky and Steve did.

The same day they found out about the mission, Steve and Bucky first went mini golfing. They took Steve's motorcycle around Manhattan. Once they finished mini golfing- which Steve won- they went to laser tag. Bucky got first with Steve trailing a couple points behind him against other people, they are army veterans after all.

After laser tag they headed back to the tower to eat and hang out with the rest of the team. They did that for a couple hours before Bucky started to run around the tower with one of Steve's red converse shoes. Steve wanted to go punch his punching bag and the red converse matched, but Bucky decided to get him back for stopping mid doorway.

All you could hear was "get back here!" And "give me back my shoe, Bucky!" The whole team was laughing while they see Bucky with a shoe in his hand and Steve running after him with one shoe on.

Steve eventually got his shoe back so he could go punch the punching bag. Besides that, the whole team just chilled on the couch and watched Criminal Minds.

The next day Steve and Bucky took a ferry boat ride. There was a point in time when the ferry shook and Steve got all nervous, Bucky held him close, because he knew why.

After the hour long ferry boat ride, they went to get food and they walked all around Manhattan for the majority of the day. They only had three days before Bucky was gone for a week with the majority of the team.

After they walked around, they stopped and got ice cream. They are the ice cream as they walked back to the tower, it being around 4:00. Steve got strawberry ice cream and Bucky got rocky road. As they were walking, Bucky got some ice cream on his cheek.

"Hey Buck you got some ice cream on your face" Steve says before his licks his ice cream cone again.

"Really? Where?" Bucky asked. He is trying to find the ice cream on his face as he wipes his face and looks at his hands to see any remnants of his rocky road on them.

"Here, let me help." Steve wipes his thumb on buckys fave to get the ice cream, then he licks his thumb before going back to his own. Steve adds, "there, now your face is ice cream free."

"Uh... thanks" Bucky said. He had watched Steve do the entire thing and he had a slight blush on his face.

Bucky didn't know how to act, he didn't understand Steve and what he did. Instead, Bucky just focused on his ice creams and walking back to the tower, so that he didn't have to focus on Steve and his actions.

They got back to the tower after many detours which led it to be 7:00. The headed inside and all of the avengers decided to play board games and watch movies the rest of the night.

The third day, with two days left, Bucky and Steve decided to just have a pool day with their friends which took up majority of the day.

They also decided to get takeout shawarma as well. However, Steve never got in the water and stayed dry until when he started to float into the air. Steve didn't know because we asleep with shades on, but then Wanda looked over at Steve, then at Tony and Nat seeing their smiles, and dropped Steve in the pool.

Steve got the water and floated down, and as instinct, he woke up but he didn't know what was happening and the rest of the team saw he wasn't coming up in between them laughing and giggling. Bucky realized Steve wasn't coming up and wasn't moving and Bucky ran and jumped in the water.
