Keylina lunched forward and grabbed the pillow and smelled the stain to make sure that it was actually blood and not ketchup or something. It actually turned to be blood, Maricruz's blood from the arrow wound.
Keylina:"Damon, thats blood!".
She said, showing him the pillow as she watch Damon expression changed.
Damon:" And we're jumping"

At The Moonlight Hotel
Kai and Maricruz finished their breakfast after Kai finally stopped teasing Cruz about her height after she clapped back by telling him to pick on someone his own size like Eiffel tower. Kai told Cruz to go get ready to go Mystic Falls, A few minutes after Cruz got into the bathroom and Kai didn't want to sit the room and wait for her to finish like a creep or freak her out so he opened the hotel door to leave.
He heard his pager go off, he looked toward the bathroom and heard the shower running. He looked at his backpack in the corner of the room and walked toward it, confused why the pager would go off, they are the only persons here, who would be calling him.
He grabbed his bag, opening it while walking out of the room and getting into the elevator and pressing the button to go to the lobby.
Once in the lobby, Kai stopped the beeping and saw a number that seems a bit familiar. He grabbed the phone from the hotel reception desk and dial the unknown number. He placed the phone close to his ear and waited for the person to pick up, he was quite anxious but kept his composure.
The person finally answered and he heard Damon voice saying hello, Kai's face dropped into confusion as how in the world would he be back here. Kai kept his calm and acted not surprised.
Kai:" Oh hello, Damon".
He said, sitting in the receptionist seat and kicking his legs up on the table.
Damon:" Where are you, where is Cruz?".
Damon question him with a type of dominance in his voice which made Kai laugh.
Kai:" Relax, Damon. She is fine, she's with me".
He reassured Damon.
Damon:" I swear if you touch one hair of her little annoying head-".
He threatened, Kai frowned and cut him off.
Kai:" Rich of you calling her annoying, don't you think?".
He said sounding offended by what Damon called her for some reason.
Damon:" That's not the point, where the hell are you?!".
