Kai:" Was this why your heart was beating so hard?" He asked with a a cheeky grin on his face.
"Maybe" I said playfully.
Wait, he is a vampire and vampire-y senses seems to be setting in. So, can he die in the merge thingy.
"But wait,you are also a vampire now. I mean you can't die right? Like will the merge have any effect on you at all?"
I asked, if he can't die. Then i will have nothing to be worried about, if he lost or won, he will come back.
He chuckled humorlessly.
Kai:" No,not actually. I know that its not easy and very confusing but a merge can kill anybody whether they are part vampire or werewolf."
He explained with his arms still around me.
Well, that didn't help with the knot in my stomach.
Kai:" Also, i just felt your heart skip a beat." He chuckled lightly and then stopped to look at me with a sad expression.
I didn't say anything. I just look at him.
Kai:" Why do you want me to come back?" He asked, playing with a strand of my curly hair.
"I don't know, i just want you to." I said softly. My feelings toward this man is confusing the hell out of me.
Kai:" I gotta go now." He said, letting me go and i did the same unwillingly.
"OK." I nodded and felt as if i was about to cry. I just want him to be safe...
"Do you really have to go?" I asked, a single tear running down my cheek.
Kai whimpered and his hands flew to grab my face.
Kai:" Don't cry, i will be fine. I'm mega powerful. Remember?" He asked under his breath and i nodded.
He pulled me towards him, pressing a soft kiss on my lips. I gripped his shirt and quickly responded.
And he pulled away just as quick. Kai:" One for the road."
I smiled at him. I dried my eyes as i gently push him away and walked into Liz's room, seeing Damon and Keylina standing on either side of her.
I looked back into the hall way, no kai. I quickly wiped my eyes again with my sleeves walked toward them with a smile on my face even though i felt like shit, they don't have to know that.
"How do you feel, sheriff?" I asked her as her eyes watched me walk next to her.
Liz:"Feeling a bit better but i'm still dying. Do you think you can fix me?" She asked.
