KAI STOPPED THE CAR when we reached a tall building with the word "Honey's Corner" written on a banner on top of the opened golden doors. This place is way more fancy than I thought. I left my gun and badge hidden in the glove compartment.

I did get weird looks from people in fancy dresses when I got it but it wasn't enough to bother me but I saw Kai giving them death glares, so, I was good. Kai made a reservation a few days ago before we had sex, From what I know, he was already planning to take me out, that made my heart flustered.

He booked a table on the terrace, where there was an only circular table. The sky was clear and it was warm. We had a view on the lake and overall it was very romantic. The table was draped in white with a golden strip across with lit candles in the middle.

We both sat down after we freshen up in restaurant restroom. I've put my hair in a ponytail. The hckies on my neck was starting to fade as i had placed a cold spoon all over them the day after i got them.

We sat at the table, talking while eating tiny appetizers. Kai took one and held it between his thumb and index finger.

Kai:" Wanna share this with me? I had a grape five hours ago."

"Definitely."

I giggled. He brought the food to my lips and I ate half of it and he ate the rest. God, he's hot. He licked his lips and looked at me.

Kai: "Like what you see?"
He smirked and I nodded with a little side smile. I got closer to him by placing my elbows up on the table.

" You looks hot, you know that?"
I asked him quietly as he also leaned close to me.

Kai:" Yeah?"
He asked quietly and I bit my lip while humming a "uh- huh". He brought his hand up to trace my face before he pulled my lips away from my teeth using his thumb.

Kai:" I already told you to leave that to me."
He leaned in and softly kissed my bottom lip but we were abruptly interrupted by a waiter bringing us our main dish.

I quickly sunk back in my seat, leaving Kai's touch. He looked pissed, not at me but at the young waiter.
Kai:" Thank you."

He said through his gritted teeth and then smiled to me. The waiter quickly getting the point, left. I looked down at dishes and laughed.

"We are gettin' appetizers again."
I said quietly to my boyfriend in front of me, who sighed before laughing.

Kai:" I'm having a bad feeling already." He smiled before he dug into the tiny piece of chicken on thin slice of bread, covered in tomato sauce. I could do that, me aka the worst cook ever.

I cut into the food and taste it, It was very good. I have a pretty big appetite but I didn't want to say anything for Kai's sake.

"Everyone here are the type to eat pizza with a fork and a knife."
