AFTER ONE WHOLE DAY OF DRIVING, we reached Oregon. Kai was getting tired of driving but i didn't ask him to take his place to drive because i know what he is going to say.
"Are we close to your house?". I asked pulling my legs closer to my chest.
Kai:"Yep, we will get there in a few minutes". He replied while softly tapping his fingers against the wheel at the rhythm of a Ice- cube's song playing on the radio.
"Do you plan to stay in Portland after we get out?". I asked trying to make conversation.
Kai:"I don't know yet". He replied, running his hand in his hair.
I nodded. Kai turned into a open entrance. He parked the car in the entranceway. I looked around to see a house surrounded by trees. We got our of the car, i walked forward to take in the view.

I heard Kai getting our bags out of the car and stand next to me.
Kai:"I present to you, my home. Shall we?". He asked me.
I nodded and we both walked toward his house.
He softly pushed the door and waited for it to open fully.
He turn to look at me, who was standing on the porch's stairs.
Kai:"Mi casa es tu casa". Ouuu.
"Gracias". I smiled.
He bit his bottom lip and made a motion for me to follow him.
