JADE, It was the only name on my mind at the time. Alex didn't look like he should be feeling; lust. but he pretended to be interested but I could tell by the rapid change in his expressions that his mind was clouded, He was bothered by something.
Alex:" What are you doing here? Most people who comes to my events are mostly men who need a big kick in the arse in their love life." He chuckled and I copied his action.
" Well, I'm a very big fan of yours and when I heard, you're in town; I rushed here." I gestured toward my outfit.
He threw a quick glance at my outfit and back at my face.
Alex:" You look amazing. I love your style." He complimented me and I smiled. I do have a good taste in clothing but I tone it down because of work.
" Are you available? I mean, I don't want to be getting to close to someone's man." I asked with my voice low while getting closer to him.
He looked confused, his eyes swaying around the room.
Alex:" I am very much single, dear." He smiled again.
Rapid change in behaviour. He's lying.
I will keep the act up for a little longer, I just hoped I will find something.
Then I noticed it. When he took out his phone to, I guess, check his notification. His lock screen, It was a picture of Coral.
" Is that your sister? She's really pretty." I said, pointing at hisphone. " Sorry, If I'm being noisy, I'm a curious kitten." I laughed awkwardly.
He frowned before quickly hiding his phone back in his pockets.
Alex:" Where do you work, Jade?" He asked and I cringed.
"I-uh well, I-." I stuttered and laugh awkwardly.
Alex:" Let me guess; PD?" He said and he shook his head.
Alex:" This is getting ridiculous!" He exclaimed.
"We need to know where she is, Alex!" I replied.
He went to say something but his face dropped and he look disgusted.
I felt a warm substance dripping from my nose into my closed lips. I quickly wiped my mouth with the back of my hand and saw the same black substance, I threw up at the precinct. I looked back at Alex, who was staring at me with wide eyes, I can't blame him. Some black shit is literally pooling from my nose right now.
