Lalisa scratches her head. "Are you . . . sure that's the only way you'll acknowledge me?"
"Yes," Jeongguk tells her.
"I'm going to do something for you to completely remember me. Are you sure that you want me to do it?" Lalisa asks.
Jeongguk shrugs. "Do whatever you want, as long as it leads me to remember——"
And in an instant, Jeongguk was caught off-guard.
Lalisa stepped forward, tiptoed, wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed him.
What surprised Jeongguk was he didn't even dare to pull away. Instead, he waited for her to do so.
The kiss ended with her slowly taking a few steps back, her face all scrunched up, a few beads of sweat already forming on her forehead.
"Uh . . . you still don't remember?" Lalisa tilts her head hesitantly.
Jeongguk gulped, shaking his head, and looked at her with furious eyes — an attempt to show her that he abhorred the kiss.
"What do you think you're doing?" Jeongguk grumbles at her.
Lalisa licks her lips, awkwardly scratching her nape due to embarrassment. "I thought you'd remember me."
"How would I remember someone from a mere kiss?"
Lalisa sighs in disappointment. However, she started to fix her posture and smiled at him. She was still hopeful.
"It's alright, I'm sure you can remember everything . . . sooner or later."
Little does Lalisa know that Jeongguk already remembers everything.

Jeongguk grumbled across the room as he forced himself to get his ass to the kitchen to open the wine.
Surprisingly, Lalisa and his hyungs got along pretty well . . . in an ample amount of time, too. It's like they just clicked!
He returned with a newly opened wine bottle to see his hyungs getting along with Lalisa and laughing out loud with her.
Jimin then grabbed the bottle from Jeongguk's grasp, immediately pouring the contents onto their glasses. Seokjin then turns towards Lalisa with his signature smile (that would make girls swoon over him in an instant).
Jeongguk seemed to recognize that smile of his hyung, but he ignored it.
"How about I pour you a glass, Lalisa?" Seokjin smiles at her.
Lalisa's eyes began to dart here and there, not knowing how to exactly respond. Jeongguk clears his throat, earning all of their attention.
"She can't," he utters.
Jimin and Seokjin began to look at each other meaningfully as if they'd discussed something about Lalisa and Jeongguk before they'd arrived.
"Aww, why not?" Jimin wiggled his eyebrow.
Jeongguk tried his best not to appear fazed, nor did he try to act suspicious. Jimin is still a cop; one wrong move and he and Lalisa are done for.
"She just can't drink. Not with any of you chumps," Jeongguk was quick enough to think of a reason.
Seokjin and Jimin began to snicker. "Such a protective boyfriend you are!" Seokjin cackled, eyes dawning over Lalisa. "Tell me, how did you guys meet?"
Jeongguk felt flustered and was going to answer instead of her, but she beat him to it. "We met at a party, he approached me, and we just clicked." Lalisa giggled.
