We all woke up a little later than usual. I remembered that we will be heading out today and try to get closer where they'd seen Daniel. I'm going to be honest, I did not wan to. I was so tired and felt like doing nothing. Today was the day that I truly missed being home. Air conditioning. I miss it.
"Ok, troops! Wake up!" Zach yelled.
"I don't wanna," Jonah said.
"I don't-" We heard a thump.
"I'm sorry, Zach I could not hear you. You fell," Corbyn said. The room fell with laughter.
"If ya'll don't get up I'm going to leave all of you in here," Zach said. The room fell silent and we all quickly got up. All we hear is the shuffling of people trying to get up.
"Qui-"
"Oww!" The room was soon brightened by multiple flashlights.
"Holy...Is Jesus coming?" Oscar asked.
"Unfortunatly, no," Jack said. We were all standing around.
"Are we going through the halls again?" I asked. Jack looked around. He looked out the window and quickly turned to us.
'turn the lights off' he mouthed. We all did it and ducked. People outside of the door were talking.
"This is the room they were going to do Daniels 'procedure'," Jack whispered loud enough for us to hear him.
"Is that why there are creepy ass things here?" Crawford asked. I looked at him and he was holding what looked like a saw.
"As long as this door is closed, they can't get in here or do it," Jack said. I grew excitment over that.
"They might have another room available, so if we keep this room closed then it's a higher chance Daniel will be ok," Jack said with a smile.
"Are people outside of the door saying this or are demons whispering in your ear?" Wyl asked.
"The first one," Zach said.
"Ok they left. We know we can't escape through the door. The vents are our only option." Jack said. We all looked up. Crawford fell into a fit of laughter.
"The hell?" I asked.
"I think a demon was talking to you Jack. Cause it got Crawford."
"You think all of us can get up there and still stay quiet?!" Crawford continued laughing.
"Nope," Zach said.
"But we are going to try," Jack said.
"Yep," Zach replied.
"Now get your asses up and get ready," Jack said. We were all probably shocked by that.
This is a shorter chapter just in case you guys thought the others were too long :)
