Christian POV
I woke up and kept blinking my eyes. Wait, there isn't any sun, so why was ther light? I looked over at the door to make sure it was not open. It wasn't. So what was it? I sat up and saw that Daniel had his light on and was sitting beside Zach. They were looking around, as if looking for something.
"Are you guys ok?" Wow. That barely came out of my mouth as words. Both of them jumped.
"Sorry, did we wake you?" Daniel asked. I shook my head.
"What are you guys doing?" I asked.
"We-we heard something outside of the door and got worried. We would have woken you guys up, but we thought maybe it was a creak and nothing at all," Zach explained. I nodded.
"Ok," I said sitting up. I guess I was going to stay up with them. They continued looking around. My silence obviously gave them a feeling of uncomfort.
"What did you guys hear anyway?" I asked.
"They were talking. About...I don't know. More people. Things getting worst. We really need to leave, but it just so happens things aren't going to be very good," Zach explained. That was the first time Zach talked like that. Usually he'd be trying to be funny, or just ask questions.
"Also, we heard a noise like someone was trying to get in," Daniel added. I looked around the room.
"We probably should wake the others up. We need to get going," I said looking at my watch and realizing I didn't have one. I walked over to Jack. Before I could even say or do anything, a pillow flew right into Jacks face. I looked up and saw Daniel and Zach laughing. They are back. Jack popped up and I jumped back. His eyes went straight to the others. Zach laughed and pointed to me. Jack turned around then looked back.
"I knew it was you two," He replied getting up. He stretched and yawned very loud might I add.
"Should we wake up the others?" Zach asked.
"Yes," Jack said. Zach smiled and began walking to Corbyn. "Zach?" Jack asked.
"Yes?" Zach replied.
"Get that water bottle out of the back of your coat." Zachs mouth fell open.
"How did you know?!" He asked.
"I know you. Plus you were holding a bottle one second and nothing the next.
"I didn't even turn," Zach complained. We all woke everyone up and told them to get packing.
"Ok, Christian I'm going to go over some things with you. First, when we leave-" I zoned out as I was looking behind him. Zach got up and was smiling. Not a good sign. Well, in the if he's about to prank someone department. He walked over to Crawford who was still in his covers and maybe asleep. Zach dumped the water and Crawford popped up. Zach fell back and laughed.
"Zach!" Jack yelled.
"Bro, stop your scaring me! You didn't even see me and Christian wasn't even talking to you!" Zach yelled.
"I was watching you through Chritians eyes," Jack replied. Daniel had a weird expression on his face.
"That sounds like a cringy line in a movie," He said looking at us.
"I noticed Christian wasn't listening to I saw the reflection in his eyes," Jack said looking at Crawford.
"Well, he was asleep," Zach said trying to get out of trouble.
"Ok, that's fair," He replied turning around.
We all packed up. We decided to take a chance to talk to eachother again. It might be the last. That sounded sad. I looked around the room. I didn't want to say goodbye. Although, I might regret it later. My nose burned. Was I about to cry?
Wow. Way to let the younger people that I'm confident. I am one of the oldest actually. I'm older than most of the people here. I siged and began walking to the first available person I saw.
