Christian POV
Daniel quickly went back to his group just in case. We listened. Something was there but what? Someone ripped a loud squicky one, making all of us jump.
"Sorry!" Zach whisper yelled. We listened again once Jack quickly silenced us again. Foot steps. We all quickly moved to the side.
"Ok, try not to go the same way as everyone, break!" Jack yelled. The dudes began running after us. We all began scattering. I made sure Zach was beside me and I recognized the look on his face. He was scared. At this point we were quickly walking.
"Zach, we're going to be ok," I said as we rounded a corner. We both stopped dead in our tracks. We were seen.
"Hey, looky looky," The thing said. Before I even processed anything, Zach hit him upside the head with something. I looked down at the guy, then to Zach.
"You still have that?!" I asked looking at the thick sheet of medal he had when he got us out.
"Yep," He replied.
"I don't know where you keep that, but you need to teach me," I said looking at him. We stopped behind a pile of stuff, and used it as a good time to see what we have. I have the Walkie talkie, map, mini hammer, snacks, water, and a pocket knife. I never realized until now that I had half of this. Someone must have snuck them into my coat when I wasn't looking. Like the pocket knife.
"What do you have?" I asked putting the things in my coat.
"Snacks, medal sheet, pen, paper, and water," He said. I nodded and we got back up. We had to stay quiet, and make our way to the others.
Daniel POV
I hope Christian finds the pocket knife i put in his pocket when I was talking to them back there. I put a pair of scissors in Jacks, and gave the other stuff like snacks, and weapons or tools. They were things I collected in every room that I'd been in. We were all walking along the wall. I realized how I'd never heard some of my friends speak. like, Dylan and William. They were just quiet, I guess. I hope everyone is safe. We were all making our way to our spot. Our maps were actually pretty helpful. Getting to this area is like, waiting to see if you made it into a school or something. You wish you could skip a couple of hours and know for sure. For now, we were left in worry.
Jack POV
We were walking. We ran a little bit, but now we think we are ok to walk. We were on track that's for sure. We need to make it before the others if we can so that we know they went the right ways. I also hope Christian makes it there soon. He knows this area. I hope no one gets lost. Crawford pulled out the map.
"This way," he said. We started going.
"I proud of you, Crawford," I said. He stopped and looked up at me.
"Really, why?" He asked.
"Stepping up, man. I appreciate it," I said. He smiled.
"No problem," he said. We continued walking. We were somewhere close to half way there. My brain works in a weird way.
