Christian POV

We've tried to relax. It was harder than it looked. Trust me. It's hard to do so when your life is always in danger. Although, it s not hard at all to forget your life is in danger. Everyone was either chatting quietly, or just sitting around. Like me. I saw Jack looking up and moving his lips. He must be trying to go over something with himself. That or he was kissing a ghost. The two of us are like the leaders. He just learned everything you need to know for this place by exploring it. I just know a litte from playing the game. I wasn't supposed to know everything. If I'd known I was going to be in this place, and the mapping was important for survival, I would have done so.

"Everyone gather around, I have an announcment, well, things to go over," Jack said while standing on the table. Weird. He didn't go over this with me.

"You don't have to do all that. We're 25 feet away to the max," Zach said, putting the rubber ball down beside Jack. He gave him a stare, picked up the ball, and threw it at him.

"I didn't ask Mr. Herron," Jack said.

"We're not in the army, Avery," Zach replied sassily. These boys, I swear.

"Anyways, we need to talk about the future-"

"We'll probably be dead," Zach interupted. Corbyn smacked him in the back of the head.

"What?! You didn't say when in the future!" Zach yelled. Jack rolled his eyes.

"Anyways again, we need to talk about if something happens-"

"Something will happen if we want to get out of here."

"Zach, would you shut the flip flops up?!" Zach laughed and so did a couple of other people.

"Zach, my man. How did you survive highschool?" Crawford asked.

"I didn't," Zach said crossing his arms.

"Good, you would not have," Jonah replied.

"Like, if we go missing. If some of us don't show up, we can't go after them. Only if you don't know where they are. If we do know. Yes, we go and get them," Jack said. Made since.

"I actually have a question," Zach said.

"Go ahead."

"What id one of us are being brutally murdered?" It went dead silent for a good couple of seconds.

"It could happen," Jack replied in his calm voice.

"What a brutal question," Corbyn mumbled.

"Look, now, it is not up to us as a group to stay safe. But, you as your own person. It is your job to keep yourself safe, you can't help others to much, or you will go," Jack said scaring all of us. I'm scared. I didn't realize how serious this was. But we had to get out.

"I'm sorry guys, we need to go. Last night I over heard them talking about opening every closed door to find us," Daniel said.

"No, you shouldn't be sorry. You probably saved all of us," I said. Everyone looked my way.

"We need to be very careful. Leaving will be the most challenging thing any of us have gone through. Jack and Zach have been through more than us, it's going to be harder than that. It seems impossible, I know," I just preached.

"When do we leave?" Zach asked. Everyone looked at him, then to Jack. He swallowed.

"Tomorrow."
