Crawford POV

Thank god Daniel is helping. But, I am worried about him. He is way to nice and will end up easily sacrificing himself, even if that's not an option. I'm trying to hurry to avoid that. We finally made it to the next hall. This was the last one. Up ahead, I can see light from a door. We are so, so close. Yet, in some cases, to far. Why couldn't we have been doing this an hour ago? No one would have died. I stopped and looked around to make sure no one was doing anything stupid.

"Where's Jonah?" I asked. I heard a yell and that's when Corbyn ran to me. He was a mess. He saw and knows something.

"Corbyn, hey. It's ok. Chill. We'll find him, and we will get out," I said. I wasn't the best at pep talks. He shook his head.

"We can't." My face fell.

"What?" I asked.

"Jonah-Jonah didn't make it. The roof fell. He was so close. One second!" Corbyn yelled. I felt so sad. Thank god no one heard him. I looked up and realised I was wrong. Daniel stood there, with tear filled eyes. Why does he always see everything? He is being torn.

"We need to go, now!" He yelled as he marched to the front. It's time we meet the side of Daniel that is good, but also bad. He will help us. A lot. But, he is not afraid to throw himself in harms way. We began lightly jogging. Christian still can't walk very well, so Jack is helping him. Some of us were actually already piled in front of the door. I guess there waiting for all of us. We caught up to them and pure fear was on Daniels face.

"What?" I asked.

"The doors locked," he replied.

Jack POV

"Well, here let's break it," I suggested.

"Jack," Daniel quietly said. I looked at him and then looked where he was looking. There was more of them.

"Let's break the damn door!" I yelled. We all began running into it. Time was running out...
