Why Don't We/ Christian: Outlast

We had the door barricaded-ish. We sat in a circle.

"We need to leave and actually do stuff. We need to go in pairs. If we go as a group, we're all done for. Pairs will help us help the others out of trouble, and we will be most likely to make it out. I found three more walkie talkies and Zach and I have the other two. So, here are the groups; Oscar and Jc, Jonah and Wyl, Corbyn and Dyl, me and Christian, and Zach and Crawford. Is that ok?" Jack asked.

"Sorry, can Crawford and Zach not be put together?" I asked.

"Yeah," Jonah agreed.

"Crawford, he's a happy, adventurous type," I said.

"Yeah, same with Zach," Corbyn said.

"Ok, I'll take Crawford, Christian you good with Zach?"He asked. I nodded.

"Perfect. Now, Crawford and I will stay here for an extra ten minutes or so. Just incase one of ya'll get in trouble, we'd be right around the corner. Stay on the look out for Daniel, as well," people began leaving.

Zach POV

Christian and I began going our way, and everyone else split. This pair thing is scary. Luckily, every group had a communication device. We walked down a couple of minutes.

"Everyone doing ok?" I looked down to see the number 2 flashing on the device. Jack was talking to us.

"Yep, so far so good," Christian replied. He doesn't trust me with it. We kept walking and we came close to a door.

"It will start in ten to fifteen minutes." It was barely audible, but I heard it. The color drained from my face. Everything made since! I took the device out of Christians hands and put the number two in.

"Yes?"

"Jack, are you still in the room?" I asked.

"Yes?"

"I'm coming. We need to talk ASAP," I said.

"Ok, I'll be here, he replied. I took off running to the room and Christian followed behind.

"Everything makes since!" I yelled.

"The fuck?" Crawford replied.

"I was walking down the hall and I heard 'it will start in ten to fifteen minutes' and I remembered, it looked familiar. When I was taken, I heard someone in that same room say, "This is where the procedure will be unless something changes," I didn't think much of it cause it could have been anyone, but what if it was Daniel? I know it's a low possibility due to all these people, but if it is, he's about to get butchered!" I yelled.

"Oh, shit!" Jack replied. Christians eyes were wide.

"We need to get into the vents ASAP!" I yelled.

"What if it's not, though?" Crawford asked.

"It's worth te shot, what if it is?" I asked.

"Ok, go," Jack said.

"C'mon Christian, if you'd like to see your brother in one piece," I said opening the vent. Yeah, that comment was very unessisary.
