hydra pendragon was the daughter of two of the most feared, respected, one-of-a-kind wizards to live. the pressure to be just like them was exhausting so at some point in her life (which she can't remember), she gave up on trying.
they were dead though. the only two wizards ever able to become dragons in their animagus form were dead and they were never coming back because close-minded wizards couldn't stand deviation from the norm.
one thing hydra couldn't stand were those close-minded wizards - those who judged half-bloods, those who judged shapeshifters, those who were responsible for her parents' death.
slowly but surely, she became an outcast. the orphaned dragon who didn't possess her parents' shapeshifting abilities. the subpar wizard. the girl who didn't care.
hogwarts, however, was home to outcasts and close-minded wizards alike, and when they're thrown together in the same house, disaster can be expected. however, sometimes disaster doesn't come. sometimes other things do.
