Adam and I train together just to spend time together outside my apartment leading up to Wednesday's NXT.

Adam told Britt about the "guys trip" to the mountains and she was not happy. She is not liking how much time he's been spending with the guys. He said to her, and I actually quote, "I need a few days away from you and your jealousy." Yes, he actually said that to her.

We also decided to hold the NXT versus AEW event here at Full Sail. Tickets go on sale as soon as we make the announcement.

I'm in my locker room getting ready at Full Sail about twenty minutes before the show starts when there's a knock at my door. I yell, "Come in!"

The door opens and I look back to see Adam walk into the room. "Hey," I say.

He closes the door and says, "Hi." He smiles at me. "Ready to make the pay-per-view announcement and our matches?"

I nod and say, "I think this pay-per-view will do well."

"Because of you," Adam says. "I've been reading some reactions and the fans are loving your little rivalry with Britt."

I laugh and say, "Or they're loving the fact that the fans get to see you every week. I know they love to see their favorite NXT champ."

Adam smiles and says, "Haha."

"It wasn't a joke," I say, smiling.

I finish getting ready and look at the time. Adam says, "We're up first so we should head backstage and get ready to head out."

I nod, grabbing my title. Adam and I leave my locker room.

At eight, the show starts. My theme music plays first and I head out. The music changes over to Adam's and he comes out.

We get into the ring and we're handed microphones. Adam begins by saying, "Last week, my beautiful girlfriend right here made a surprise appearance on AEW after Britt Baker came onto our show." I look at Adam and smile when he says 'beautiful girlfriend'. One of those words is true.

I say, "After my appearance on AEW, Regal reached out to Kenny Omega and said he had an idea for an NXT versus AEW pay-per-view event. So, Adam and I are excited to announce The Great NXT and AEW War, the first ever NXT versus AEW pay-per-view event that will be held two weeks from this Sunday."

The small crowd cheers. I smile and Adam says, "Not only are we making that announcement but we also have a few match announcements. There will be a champion versus champion match. Myself versus AEW World Champion Jon Moxley." The crowd cheers louder.

I hold up my hand and say, "Yours truly will be main eventing that evening. The main event, your NXT Women's Champion will go against none other than Britt Baker."

The crowd cheers even louder. I can tell that they're very excited.

I smile and look over at Adam. He says, "There will be plenty of other announcements to be made in the coming days but we wanted to be the ones who announced the event itself."

"Some of your favorite NXT wrestlers will take on some of your favorite AEW wrestlers," I say. "We're excited to announce the rest of the matches but let us introduce the first match of the night. He is a former NXT champion with the second longest reign in NXT history. From Bray, Country Wicklow, Ireland, Finn Balor."

Finn's theme music starts and Adam and I leave the ring. Finn does his entrance and the crowd does it with him.

When he's done, Adam says into his microphone, "His opponent, representing the Undisputed Era, Roderick Strong."
