AEW comes back from commercial and the bell rings. One of the commentators says, "This was made official during the commercial break. Dr. Britt Baker against NXT's Tegan Nox, who seems to be fighting for an injured Angelina."

A second commentator says, "Yes, it just came to us that NXT Women's Champion Angelina explained her injury on NXT just now. A torn PCL in her left knee but she'll be back within seven to eight weeks. She gets to keep her title but has to defend against number one contender Io Shirai, who won the triple threat match at The Great NXT and AEW War on Sunday."

Tegan and Britt go after each other, exchanging several blows before Tegan sweeps Britt's leg, making Britt fall on her back.

The first commentator says, "Yes, and after that title defense, we are getting a rematch between Baker and NXT Women's Champion Angelina. A no disqualification, anything goes cage match. We don't know if that will be on NXT or AEW but that match will be in about two months."

I watch as Tegan takes full control of the match. Adam and Candice stand at ringside, cheering Candice on.

The second commentator says, "NXT's Candice LeRae and NXT Champion Adam Cole stand at ringside as they cheer for Nox, who has all the momentum going for her in this match. Nox has Baker pinned in the corner as she kicks."

The referee begins the count and Tegan backs off. "Get up!" Tegan yells at Britt. "Stop hiding in the corner like a coward."

The crowd goes "ooh" and Britt stares up at Tegan.

My phone begins to ring. I see it's Alexa. I answer the phone. "Hello?" I say, keeping my full attention on the match that's happening on the TV right now.

There's a knock on the door and Roderick answers it as Alexa says, "Is that Tegan Nox on AEW? With Adam and Candice?"

"Yeah," I say. I look back at Roderick to see who was at the door. He's walking in with Johnny Gargano. Not surprising. He's married to Candice.

Alexa says, "Is this going to happen until you're back? People showing up on AEW for you to fight Britt."

Tegan does a belly to belly move on Britt as I say, "I don't know. It seemed like a one-time thing. I didn't ask Adam to go on AEW, he told me the other day that he was going to pay AEW a little visit."

Johnny sits on the ground on front of me, Roderick, and Kyle and watches TV. Alexa says, "Nikki and I would be happy to show up on AEW next week too."

I say, "You don't have to. I don't need people fighting for me until I'm back."

Alexa says, "Please, I've been wanting to find a reason to kick Britt's ass. Let us do this."

Britt starts to go after Tegan's braced leg and I say, "Fine. You can. I might show up with you but just not get into the ring. They're in Dallas next week, I think I saw."

"Ooh," Alexa says. "Texas. I'm down. Nikki and I will go but you don't have to."

Britt puts Tegan in a figure four leg lock. I say, "I got to go. Call me tomorrow and we'll talk about it."

Alexa says, "Alright. Talk to you tomorrow."

I hang up quickly and watch the TV. The first commentator says, "Britt Baker is using Ric Flair's move on Tegan Nox. Is Nox gonna tap to Baker?"

"Come on, Tegan," I mutter to myself. "Come on."

Tegan rolls and grabs the ropes, breaking the move. Britt uses most of the ref's count before she lets go of Tegan.

I watch as Tegan holds her left knee and sits up in the corner. Candice walks over to her and says something to Tegan as Britt works her way up to her feet.
