twenty one

My alarm wakes me up the next morning. I groan and roll over, turning off the alarm. I get out of bed. Adam will be here in about an hour to pick me up and head to the airport. I'm so glad to be getting away from Orlando for a few days. I'm so glad to be going back to my home state of Pennsylvania.

I always feel so relaxed when I go home to Pennslyvania. Barely anyone knows me up there. The fact that I'm getting away from Orlando with Adam makes me even more relaxed and excited.

Once I find the motivation to get up, I stumble sleepily out to the kitchen. I need coffee. Badly.

I make some coffee and stand in the kitchen, sipping out of the cup. I go through a few of the notifications on my phone. A lot of the videos in my feed are about the pay-per-view announcement and what Britt said to me last night.

I'd love to know what Adam said to her when she got home last night. I'll have to ask him when he comes to get me.

I go get dressed after I finish my cup of coffee. I put on a pair of sweatpants and a band t-shirt that I cut to look like a crop top. I wear flip flops and I tie my hair up in a messy bun.

My phone starts ringing. I see it's Adam. I answer it and say, "Hey."

"Good morning, princess," Adam says. "I just got in the car and I'll be there in about fifteen minutes."

I smile and say, "I'll be waiting outside for you. See you soon."

"See you soon," Adam says. The line goes dead.

I make sure I have everything I need before I leave for the next five days. I make sure I have my phone charger, laptop plus laptop charger, my wallet, and a few more things I think I'll need.

Alexa and Nikki both told me that if Britt shows up to the Performance Center to look for me, they're going to tell her that I'm not feeling good and that I stayed home. Britt has no idea where I live so she won't go looking for me at my apartment.

I lug my things downstairs just as Adam pulls up out front of my apartment. I put my things in the trunk of his car and get in the passenger's seat. I close the door and look at Adam. He's wearing sunglasses, his hair is in a bun, he's wearing a t-shirt and jeans with a pair of sneakers. He leans over the armrest and kisses my cheek. "Hi," I say, smiling.

Adam smiles and says, "Hey. Ready to head up to the mountains?"

I nod and say, "I am so excited. I love Pennsylvania and the fact I'm going there with you and the guys and everyone is making me even more excited."

Adam laughs and drives to Orlando International Airport. We park in the parking lot and Adam says, "We're going to get through security and everything before I tell the guys that we're here."

A car pulls in next to us and I recognize Roderick as the driver. "We don't need to tell Roderick," I say. "He's here."

I get out of the car and grab my things from the trunk. Adam goes to greet Roderick and I just get Adam's things out of the car as well. I close the trunk. I join Adam, Roderick, and Marina.

Marina sees me and she smiles. "Hey, Angelina," she says. "I am so happy to see you."

I smile and say, "I'm happy to be here."

Marina and I grab our suitcases and head inside. The guys follow us. Marina and I talk about different things. We get through security. Adam texts Bobby and Kyle to tell them that we've gotten past security and that we're waiting for them.

Roderick asks, "So, Adam, how much of your gaming gear did you bring with you?"

"Um," he says. "I have my PlayStation, my switch, and probably about a dozen games for each console."
