If no one can hear you
Then did it even happen?
To which I ask, don't you know?
Trees die from waters brackenA humble tree never makes a sound
Yet for the wandering traveller
Gazing up into it's sparkling lights
I'm sure they thought they were heaven's passengerFor all the little things the tree humbly does
People still say, if it tumbles
It's meaninglessIf no one can hear you scream
It doesn't mean it didn't happen
It just means no one was around
To free you from what you were trapped inJust because you cry alone
Doesn't mean you are strong again.
The cracks are covered in paste
When face to face with a friendJust because no one sees your pain
Doesn't mean you're not
Brackish waters kill trees
As do humans with their thoughts
