A large ship flew overhead covering the sun as its fleet followed suit I was watching through my dorm window I felt anger rise up through my body as I watched the ship fly overhead "Why the duck is Ironwood here?" I asked as Penelope peeked out the window with me. She was on her knees peeping through since I was standing by the window. "Beats me Chief. Maybe he's here in preparation for the vytal festival soon?" She looked up at me as I looked down at her
"He should get outta here before he gets in my way" she stood up and backed away "Geez Chief. Sounds like you really have a grudge against him" I nodded as I turned to grab my gear "that's because I do. Ironwood did something long ago that hurt my family. He made the same mistake again last year. He thinks he's some great mastermind when all he is, is a guy with power" I strapped legacy on my back and holstered my guns.
"Look chief. I'm not gonna pry and ask what happened. But I do have one favor to ask" I looked at her as I slipped my gauntlet on "hmm?" She smiled and opened her arms like a child "can I get a ride to the library?"
I watched her as she kicked her legs as repeatedly opened and closed her hands. With a shake of my head and a defeated sigh I bent over a little "Alright. Hop on" "YAY!!!!!" Penelope jumped onto my back and wrapped her arms around my neck as I grabbed her legs "ok. Let's get going"
Walking down the courtyard of beacon to the library in the east wing wasn't a hard walk. It was a beautiful day outside. Being ruined by that damn fleet above us "Wonder if he's here to pitch another idiotic idea to Ozpin. Tch. Both of them are bastards" I thought as I carried a happy fox Faunus on my back. She rocked her head side to side as she sang a song with glee with every step I took.
"You seem.happy today" I said with a smile "Why wouldn't I be? I get a ride from the most handsome and badass team leader on the planet" she said as she looked at me I laughed as I adjusted my grip so I wouldn't drop her "You flatter me Penelope. I'm just an average semblenceless guy"
She lifted up her arm and poked me in the back of the head with her Index finger "and that's another thing. We gotta find your semblence" I sighed "Penelope I can't get one. It's impossible" "Hush!" She said as she poked me again "Anything is possible. So we are going to find your semblence!" I shook my head "Whatever you say" "that is what I said"
As we reached the library I leaned back as she got off me and smacked my ass "thanks boss" she then skipped away and disappeared into the halls of the library. "YANG XIAO LONG PREPARE YOUR KINGDOM FOR BATTLE!!!!!!" I heard a familiar adorable girl shout. Looking over I saw Team RWBY at a table. And team JNPR at the table across from them. However team rwby wasn't studying
"BRING IT ON!!!!" yang called back to her sister "I DEPLOY THE ATLESIAN AIR FLEET!!!!" Ruby called as she stood up from her chair "Ugh!" Yang gasped "looks like I get to fly right over your ursai and attack your walls directly!" Ruby said snuggly
I gave a small laugh as I walked over "Hey girls" I said "Not now!" Ruby said as she put a finger to my mouth without braking eye contact with yang "She's going down" I just looked over at yang "You fiend!" Yang said "and since atlas is a part of mantle. My repair time only lasts...one turn" she said with an evil voice towards her sister I just looked back from yang to ruby. Then back at yang
Yang looked at me. Then winked "trap card" I thought as yang smirked at Ruby and laughed "Looks like you forgot one important thing..." Yang said "You've activated my TRAP CARD!!!!" Yang said "mhm" I said internally as I nod to myself and look at Ruby "WHAAAAT?!" Ruby yelled in surprise as yang smashed her fist down on the table
"If I roll a 7 or higher Fatal feathers will slice your fleet in two" Ruby looked her in the eye "But if you roll a 6 or lower the nevermore will turn on your own forces" Ruby said as yang got closer as they both leaned over the table "That's a chance I'm willing to take"
