The squad went to school and luckily saw Maeven Castro.
Like Era said The squad will like Maeven once they meet her, in fact Maeven caught someones eyes at first meeting.
"Cid stop staring that's so rude" Jam shakes her lost friend.
Maeven Castro, she studies informational technology with Era, she is two years older than anyone in the group but she fits in well with everybody, Maeven is this girl with cute chubby cheeks, soft voice and sparkling stars like eyes.
"Im in a mood for love" Cid whispered under her breathing, enough for Jam to hear, Jam can't let the opportunity slip away of course.
While Maeven, Sea and Era were talking Jam suddenly bumps Cid making her stumble back and fall in front of Maeven, she quickly catched Cid before she falls.
Little did Cid know that she already fell for Maeven, even with a simple mention of her name.
Jam winked at the group, already knowing what it means.
"Are you okay?" Maeven helped Cid to stand up, Jam smiling in the corner. Happy with her plan already working.
Cid wondered staring at the older's face when she snapped out from her daze.
"I'm fine....s-sorry" Cid apologized dusting her red stinging hands from her fall.
"Oh- you got scratched" Maeven gasped then dug something from her bag.
"Okay Maeven we'll leave Cid with you okay? bye~" Jam pushed the squad away from the scene leaving the two alone.
"No its fine-"
Cid got cut off when Maeven suddenly grabs her wrist and blows on the scratch.
"You should be careful next time" Maeven washed the wound with alcohol that made Cid hissed with its stinging sensation.
"Im sorry" Cid apologized again, secretly delighted inside.
Maeven stares at Cid and smiled "Why are you so apologetic you didn't do anything wrong" She asked.
"I'm sorry i suddenly fell for you" Cid whispered quietly, which caught Maeven off.
"What?" Maeven asked trying to hold in her grin.
"What? No? i-i mean.... i-i'm sorry for falling for- no i'm sorry falling o-on you" Cid stammers try not to look at Maeven, who is now just laughing at Cid.
"Yeah, i got the message" Maeven kissed Cid cleaned wounds that automatically turned Cid face into a tomatoe.
"Sorry it becomes a habit because of my little brother" She lets go of Cid's hands, Cid wishing she fell on her cheeks instead.
They stayed together for a while before classes starts since the squad literally ditched her with Maeven.
Jam quietly sat beside Eshan waiting for Mr. Quero, Jam on the other hand is waiting for someone else.
Mr. Quero came in and started with his class but the person that Jam is waiting for is still not there.
Jam opened her phone confident to text Archie

where the hell are you?

oh shit i'm late again am i?
Jam
No.....you just missed HALF of the class

i slept late
and i'm still sleepy
Jam
Okay then

Jam turned her phone off and continued listening to the discussion.
