∆ Chapter 43 Three words and One big lie ∆

It's the day Jam was assigned to bring Eshan home from the hospital, Cid end up eating lunch with the rest of her friends including her girlfriend Maeven and while having lunch Mae surprised everyone with her good news and of course everyone was thrilled the only ones missing in the scene are Eshan and Jam but they're confident that they would just celebrate every good news at home where they could be comfortable finally back to normal.

Eating and chatting at the food court Maeven sitting close to Cid, the rest wasn't bothered by this but I guess some people can't just mind their own business.

"hey you guys must be so 'close' to be like this huh?" a guy suddenly came up to the group and decided to ask an obvious question the group looked at him but he didn't felt intimidated by eight girls staring weirdly at him "yeah pretty much" Cid said placing her arm around Maeven's shoulder "ewww" he scoffed and walked away the squad was shocked but quickly found a witty way to teach him a lesson.

Rylene noticed the guys wallet on the floor where he stood a second ago "hey dude you forgot this" she stand up and shout across the room successfully catching the guy's attention "ohhh. Thanks good thing you got it not that freak" he cackles with Rylene patiently waiting for him to walk closer to her and when he did extending his hand to get his wallet Rylene dumps all his money, cards and coins on the floor and proceeds to throw the wallet at the bin not caring if she is being a bully to the eyes of the people around them "Now get lost before your face meets the floor" she growled low whispering it only to him, the guy quickly picked up all of his scattered things on the floor and fast walk out of the hall.

"What was that?" Cid tilts her head looking at the guy and looked at Rylene "nehh don't mind him......so do you maybe want to invite Maeven to dinner tonight we're finally complete so we have to celebrate" she sits down and waited for Cid "what's with tonight?" Maeven asks excited.

"Eshan is being discharge from the hospital and as Mae said earlier she is finally living with us" Cid explained as Maeven smiled gleeful of the good news, Cid called Jam's phone to check if they're home.

RING RING RING RING RING.........

"weird she is not picking up" Cid tried again but Jam is still not picking up.

"maybe her phone is on silent.....just try Eshan" Sea suggested making Cid end the attempt call for Jam and calling Eshan instead.

"hello?"

"Ohhh Eshan I tried calling Jam but she is not picking up but are you guys home?"

"Yeah I'm home but Jam- she is still at the hospital"

"What why!?"

" it's Archie.......i think she has to stay there longer"

Half an hour ago at the hospital 3rd POV

"CHD!?" Jam shrieks out standing up in the process, Archie sighed looking at his brother "can you guys give us some privacy please" he said with Eshan and Charles complying to his request exiting the room closing the door behind them.

"Mr. Quero........he isn't doing well is he?" Eshan asked concerned but she only got a deep sigh as an answer.

"Jam" Archie purred acting pouty in front of Jam who is obviously confuse because of her boyfriend acting so calm "Archie" she fell back to her chair with her hand covering her eyes feeling insanely frustrated.

Archie smiled and raised his lady's face with his fingers on her chin "I'm fine" Jam staring into his eyes feeling his heart clenching lie, Jam shakes her head and cried harder "liar" she sniffles as Archie laughs and invited her to a hug which she didn't rejected. While Archie comb her hair with his fingers he giggled "I guess we're both lairs now" Jam broke the hug and looked at Archie "what?"

"you're not good at keeping secrets my lady.......i know about you engagement"

He said as Jam stays dumbfounded "Since when?"

"After I saw you with him at the café"

Jam felt conflicted because she didn't know what she should even feel by that since the engagement has been off for quite a long time now and she never lied she just didn't told him "First. I can't believe that you doubted my love for you" Archie softly smiled feeling shy by his girlfriend's straight forward statement "and second the engagement is off I never even saw Rowan the way you think I see him can't I have a friend in an opposite gender without getting a weird label?" Archie opened his arms for a hug but this time it got rejected when Jam crossed her arms together eyeing the guy "what?" he ask.

"I think now is the perfect time to tell me EVERYTHING" Jam commanded him sitting back down comfortable and ready enough to listen to something that might hurt her.

"Are you sure it's a depressing story" Archie observed Jam prepared to listen to anything.

"you know how my dad is dead.......well he actually died from a disease when I was 15 and years after his death I was diagnosed with coronary heart diseases they said it's hereditary" Archie entailed as both of them slowly tear up "why didn't you just tell from the start?" she whimpers "how could I if I'm too focus loving you" Archie smiled grabbing his lady's hand intertwining his hand with her and kissing the back of her hand as Jam thought raid her head, we all know why.

"Jam it's fine I'm getting special treatments I'll be fine" as Archie convince her of that Jam was losing every bit of her sanity because deep down she knows it's a lie, a lie she wishes to be true, a beautiful lie.

Archie leaned forward to comfort his lady's with a kiss while Archie cups her face, he presses his lips to Jam as her cheeks are already damp with tears staining her skin painful for Archie to watch "Please don't cry" he said wiping off her tears that didn't stop flowing.

As he kiss her again Jam tried to speak "please don't leave me" she pleaded forcing Archie to just kissed her forehead instead of her lips whispering three lovely but painful words to hear right now "I love you"
