∆ Chapter 22 Loyalty ∆

Anticipating the hours that passed by fast, Jam felt like her stomach is eating itself because of anxieties fueling her mind and body the entire day.

Lunch is still the same scenario as the last time with Ehan. Jam and the rest of the squad couldn't think of more ways to make her eat or talk about it cause its obvious that something is bothering her.

And as promised Jam will help Archie to review for his redo test. its almost four and Jam made it on her way to the library.

While scanning the place for Archie she saw a random girl chatting with her lover that got her mood to instantly drop.

She strides to their table and pulled out an unamused expression
"Ehem" Jam cleared her throat and caught them off guard making the girl blush, backing away from Archie.

"Sorry to disturb you but i'll be helping Mr. Arcadia to review now.....if you don't mind" Archie half smiled and shooed the girl to leave them, not leaving without rolling her eyes at Jam.

After she left Jam sat in front of Archie and opened her book, radiating an irritated aura. This made Archie giggle but Jam didn't acknowledge it and gave her book to Archie with its pages already tagged with book marks.

Then she stood up hanging her bag at her shoulder not bothering to say anything.

"Wait wait wait wait.....you promised to help me review" Archie grabs Jams arm and pouts looking up to his girlfriend still in her blank expression.

"And i did.....these are the pages you need to review" She says pointing the book she lend.

Archie noticed her irritated tone and unamused attitude which lead him to one conclusion.

"you're jealous with that girl are you?" He smiled ticking off Jam but she has more self-control than Archie so she manage to pry off Archie's hand and insert her hand to her pockets.

"It's not jealousy it's disappointment......which is even worse"

"Disappointment....why?"

"why- your audacity of flirting when you know you're in a relationship"

"that's jealousy my lady"

Jam didn't made a comeback but what she did is she grabs back the book and sticks her tongue out childish like and leaves.

Archie just laughed as he face palmed and went after his lady. He jogs after Jam swiftly turning her body to face Archie

"I'm sorry can we review now i really need to review" He said begging with puppy eyes giving Jam a slight devastation.

That begging lasted longer than Archie though but bottom line is  Archie winning, both of them went back to the library already over that short and cute scene.

Both are quiet reviewing except for the occasional questions and answers that filled the silence every once in a while. in the middle of reviewing Jam couldn't stop thinking about her mother helpless until she agree with her fathers terms.
Archie caught sight of Jam dazing off about something horrible basing on the crinkled expression on her face

"Jam" Archie said making the girl shudder in surprise. Archie laughed at this placing Jam in a confused state
"What is it?" Jam asked briskly hitting Archie with her book for scaring her.

"Why are you so distracted......i can easily scare you" He whispered cause the librarian might lecture them.

Jam just ignored him and checked her phone for the time, they've been there for almost two hours now Jam rapidly collected her things and stuffed them inside her bag placing a kiss on Archie's head.
