∆ Chapter 40 Or, yet, and if ∆

Mae Focus

"Sir I need you to get me the files of the interns so I could properly sort them to their departments" Mae stood up and pulled out a file from the sorted cabinet.

"Ms. Vierto you need to be more assertive you are higher than me" Her instructor remarks as he cross his arms together, the trainee hugged her files and furrowed her eyebrows.

"And?" she ask.

Mae's instructor sighs in dismay, shaking his head he explains again.

"You're the boss Ms. Vierto you need to be more like the boss not some kind of employee"

"I don't see your point here"

"My point is you have act assertive or you won't pass your training period" Mae gulps nervously, they made a straight eye contact and tried again.

Maria Focus

The squad separately went to school today because of a schedule changes, Maria have her first class this morning so she went on her way to university alone stress free since she doesn't need to worry about a certain someone but as she stroll along the hall Maria couldn't stop thinking about the night at the music festival and what was Grey talking about not remembering him and instead of getting closure she decided to push aside the thought and focus on school for now.

Maria got to class pretty normal, the professor discussed the lesson went through some work deadlines and detail about new ones, normal. But after the class is when thing got a little interesting. Maria was walking with some project group mates planning their presentation when Maria saw Grey walking to a trash can throwing an empty can "he got bailed out or something?" she murmurs finally finding the courage to ask him about that "you don't remember me huh?" thing, she walked up to Grey all serious and ready to receive a straight answer, Grey stared at she approach looking like he had something to say too.

"Ohh it's you....look tell your boyfriend to pay for my phone that loser thinks he can just get away from this!" he raised his voice completely shouting at Maria's face but this didn't fazed her and corrected a few parts of what he said.

"First of all I don't really care about that..." she looks at his phone that he holds up on her face.

"Second he is not my boyfriend........yet but I think I know that neither of us cares about your phone" She adds as she hugs her textbooks, Grey looks so angry but remembering Stell's "friendly" reminder he didn't lay a finger on her.

"what do you want Maria" he snared looking at the girl obviously eager to ask him something.

"that night at the music festival.......what did you mean by I don't  remember you" Maria asked right away not wasting time, Grey seem to finish recalling as seen on his face a dirty smirk "Hahahaha you believed me!?" he laughs.

The girl standing in front of him felt embarrassed for thinking there could be something she wasn't expecting "To tell you the truth I even drugged those chocolate I gave you " he caught Maria to a corner and placed his hand on her shoulder scaring her now "I congratulate you for not eating them and I feel sad at the same time I could have tasted you that night but your friends just has to-

"Jerk!" Maria's eyes widens in shock when Grey flew across the hall when someone pushed him and that someone is Stell just in time to save her, When Maria saw the rage from Stell's eye grew more intense she quickly held him back by hugging him giving it all her strength to stop Stell because we all know the bottom line for this is suspension so she stopped Stell successfully getting him to calm down.
