Jam felt guilty because she hadn't seen a single trace of Archie all day, the guy always seems to be so carefree when skipping a day in school like a he's some kind of high schooler, but he isn't. Jam's boyfriend is in college and she never finds the courage to scold him about it.
The girl finally straightens up and contacted him first, waiting for Archie to answer his phone Jam was greeted by a lovely smile from Rowan who just pop up out of no where.
"hello jammie~"
he cheers flipping back his messy hair.
Jam just pulled a tiny smile out still patiently waiting for Archie to answer his phone.
"tch! what happened to please call me back sweetie" She mimicked tapping her feet while Rowan quietly watch her getting more and more irritated.
They've been awkwardly standing there in the middle of the corridor until she finally snaps.
"If i can't call him and he is not attending school.......i'm marching to his place" she locks her phone and shoves it in her pocket, ready to run to her lovers house, with the help of GPS.
"waitwaitwaitwaitwait!"
Rowan suddenly blocked Jam extending his two arms to his sides acting as barriers.
"wait for what?"
"i have plans for today"
"then go i'll be goin-
"i need you with me today"
Jam annoyingly stumped her foot while punching in the air, it's like a tantrum but it maybe the cutest scene Rowan had seen all day.
"But-
"Remember when you said you can be my friend?"
"be my friend now....please" Rowan pleaded making Jam happy with the fact that he wont force the whole marriage thing on them yet. Jam's face softens as she sighed in relief, she opens her phone again and decided to just leave Archie a text.
Jam: hey i was suppose to surprise you at your place today but Rowan needs me for something today i really want to see you tomorrow please come to school i love you
Archie already seen the text and replied a thumbs up emoji letting Jam know that he read it.
And some how Jam had mixed feelings about the text, he is normally talkative.
Jam closed her phone and looked up to Rowan
"so what are we doing today?" Rowan lighted up and sighed heavily.
"We're going to the mall"
"for what?" Jam asked while they walk to the exit.
"For whatever you want" Rowan sing with a gleam in his eye's.
Jam on the other hand shrugs and let the guy be a natural sunshine.
They eventually got to the mall and Jam decided to walk by the bookstore first, Rowan went in with her to buy himself some textbooks. Then after the bookstore Jam went in a clothing store with Rowan. Mantuazon might have the cash to buy branded clothes, Jam along with her friends thought that spending money with unnecessary thing isn't a healthy practice when you're living away from your parents. They were casually strolling through the jewelry department when Jam stumbled upon this beautiful black and white marble beads bracelet and the other one with gleaming yellow and gold marble stones.
It surprisingly caught Jam's attention since it reminded her of their call names Moon and sun.
She stared at the accessories for a good minute and decided to buy it as a peace offering. Jam really feels guilty about ignoring Archie but she really needs a good and acceptable reason first. sometimes you need space and time to heal and that time is right now.
