∆ Chapter 24 Hospital ∆

Mae focus

By the time Mae got the message from Jam, she started to panic grabbing her bag and rushing to the door but as soon as she touch the doorknob her parents stopped her.

"Where are you going? we're not done with your lessons" Mr. Vierto said in a commanding voice.

"my friends needs me"

"you can go later. when we're done"

"But they need me now!"

"They can wait!"

"But?!"

Mae insisted to go but her parents didn't let her go by guilt tripping her about the lack of time she gives them. it successfully did the trick and made her stay but it didn't stop the crippling feeling inside of her stomach.

As soon as they finish the lesson which took them the entire day, Mae hurried to the hospital room where Eshan and the group is supposed to be. Mae bursted inside luckily not bothering anyone since Eshan is already awake.

"What happened!?" She asked quickly checking her friend on the bed weakly smiling at her.
The latecomer tightly wrapped her arms around Eshans fragile body and Mae vented about how she was so worried that she could throw up while doing her work.

"So......what happened?" Mae asked again now in a serious mode, Eshan stares down at her hands intertwined with each other.

"Yeah Eshan what happened? we want to know too" Jam the one who has been stressed out the entire time asked absolutely agitated.
Eshan deeply breathed in and out, finally willing to speak, she looked at them all gathered at the edge of her bed.

"I was going to tell you b-but i got so scared....a-and you guys are busy with your own things a-and you-"

"We're never too busy for you" Sea exclaims moving to Eshans side embracing her, the squad followed her and did the same thing.

"After you recover promise me that no one will return to this place" Jam said tearing up, the squad noticed this and teased her lighting up the mood of the dull hospital room.

The whole night they were just talking about each others day, only Cid, Eshan and Mae having a bad day. it turns out Maeven actually has a admirer other than Cid. the girl started leaving cheesy notes on the girls desk and Cid later then founds out about the rival admirer when Maeven was on her phone talking to some random guy.

Jam rests her head to Eshans bed sitting down to the chair they borrowed, they all gathered beside their hospitalized friend enjoying the movie they put in the room's tv since they want Eshans room to be a cheerful as possible. Mr and Mrs Digroz already gave the therapy a go signal, the doctors says that the treatment might work fast since they caught the illness as soon as it starts getting worse, they have high hopes that everything will go smoothly as long as they believe.

It's getting late and the squad decided to go home all except for the people how doesn't have classes on a saturday which are Maria and Mae that will watch over Eshan, to make sure that she doesn't get lonely.

Jam focus

Driving back to ace house the gang ordered take outs remembering that they're fresh out of groceries at home because neither Cid and Jam run to the supermarket for food.

"Ughh....food we never got to eat lunch right?"
Rylene said with her mouth full munching on her burger, Era did the same but only hums in reply. the group happily ate their meals while driving back home, Cid of course patiently eating small portions because she is too focus on driving safely.
