Jam locked her door, answering her parents call.
"hello" she said in a low voice achieving the sound of being uninterested.
"hello?....honey we need to talk" Mrs. mantuazon spoke through the line.
"you can tell me now....over the phone"
"Honey....they're going to ruin us.....please just this once participate"
Jams face creased at the mention of the word 'Participate' recalling the last time she heard them beg of her help. She pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed feeling so frustrated and pressured.
"BE USEFUL FOR ONCE.....if you won't both of you will get it"
Jams eyes widen at the sound of her fathers voice nervously locking herself in her bathroom.
"Wh-what are you doing?!" She snapped.
"Better agree first if you don't want your mother to catch all the consiquences of your stupid actions"
Her mothers heavy breathing is clearly heard from the phone that angered Jam even more.
"She's your wife!" She said trying to be quiet.
"So? i just needed a fucking heir for the business but this witch gave me a good for nothing daughter!"
Jam heard a cry like her father was brutally hurting her mother. Jam weep at the though of her mom being violated but the her rage took first place.
"YOU CRAZY BASTARD IF DON'T LET HER GO RIGHT NOW I SWEAR ILL-"
He cuts Jam off "Or what you'll turn me in personally HAH! who do you think pays for your college, your food, your clothes, your future.....if you don't come here tomorrow and sign that contract.....then better say your last words to your mother here 'cause she won't be seeing the sunrise tomorrow"
Jam punched the wall of her bathroom and tightly shut her eyes, gripping her phone intensely.
Her mother is the only one that supports her through anything but her father always find a way to corrupt her mind. In decisions he always manage to make her say yes which boils the blood on Jams body she always wants to just go away with her mom but she seem hesitant.
"Fine...but you listen here you sorry excuse for a sperm donor....just know that i'll never consider you as my father from now on and if you hurt just one hair on moms body...ILL GET YOU MYSELF" She said ending the call trying to calm herself by washing her face in the sink.
The next day
The girl woke up really early feeling uneasy, knowing the fact that she left her mom with a power hungry lunatic.
She decided to start cooking breakfast and head out first, after eating alone she covered the food and went on her way to school, luckily the school always opens earlier.
Wearing a jacket over a t-shirt and jeans paired with sneakers, she strolled the streets deciding to get herself some coffee first since there is still two hours before class starts.
Jam stops by Riddas and ordered her favorite coffee, while waiting for her coffee she remembers that she need to help Archie review at the library today then after that deal with her crazy father. Just thinking about her day makes her tear up in frustration getting lost in her own head.
"Hey sweetie~ you're here too?" Jam almost jumped surprised. She looked at the man who surprised her, she got disappointed looking at the man.
"Why are you here Rowan?"
