∆ Chapter 19 Eshan ∆

The day of her visit 3rd POV

Coming home from school Eshan felt restless, she's been coughing none stop but she only assumed its a cold since it's very prominent for her to catch cold easily this time of the year.

She got picked up by a car sent by her parents and drive straight to Digroz mansion.

When Eshan arrived at the front door, her brother is already standing there waiting as he huffs and puffs smoke, Eshan walked up to him and locked eyes with her brother.

"Hey" Eshan started

"Hey" He said dryly and leads the way to the dinning room with their parents already there.

Eyes trailed them as they sit down "Finally" Eshan's mother sighed and started with dinner.
The table is proper but too formal for a family dinner, far from what Eshan loves with dinner. Like what she always have with her friends a comfortable, open topic, and enjoyable dinner that makes the food taste even better.

Eshan stares at her food, feeling bored she started analyzing it.
"Rice is nice but the food isn't as good as Cid's cooking, drinks is not sweet like how Maria, Sea or Princess makes it"

She glance up and observed her parents scolding her brother
"Conversation sound really annoying" she mentally blocks her parents voice and quickly finished her food, after that she excused herself and went straight to her old room.

Everything is still in order, her bed, desk and balcony is in the same way as she left it.

Drying her hair after Eshan showered she saw a weighting scale under her cabinet.
"I wonder if i gained weight" She giggled and pulled the scale out, stepping on it the number started to run but to her surprise her weight is thirty-five kilograms Eshan stepped down from the scale and checked again.

"But last time i check i'm forty-six.......how come i lost that much without doing a thing?" Eshan exclaimed with a low voice pushing back the scale under the cabinet.

In the end she just shake it out of her system and suddenly felt tired deciding to sleep it off.

The next day Eshan was suddenly woke up by a terrible chest pain, deeply breathing she pressed the emergency button located above her bed alerting the house maids as she tries to control her breath.
After a few seconds of heavy breathing the maids came and help her with an oxygen tank, calming her down.

"WHAT HAPPENED?" Eshan's father came bursting through the door which made the people inside the room turn their heads to stare at him.

"She almost had an attack sir i suggest you to take her to the hospital right away" The maid said looking at Mr. Digroz, He looked at his daughter worried for his daughter because he noticed his Eshan looks a bit off from before.

"Ill call an ambulance ready her-"

"No" Eshan said weakly but loud enough for them to hear.

"What?" Her father asked as he turn and holds her hands in a hurry.

Eshan smiled her lips quivering not retaining her beautiful smile any longer "i just need some rest that's all"

Mr. Digroz not believing her 'just rest statement'
"But-"
He didn't get to talk when Eshan shushed him.

"Just leave me...... you guys are already late for work" She sighs removing her fathers hands off her pushing him to go.

Mr. Digroz knows they're late but he couldn't help it to be worried, they might be busy parents but they're not heartless and insensitive they still love their children.

He heavily breaths out "Okay....but i'm sending a doctor over to check you.....i'm calling your university to let them know of your absence" firmly he says and kiss Eshan's forehead then leaves the room in a hurry.

After a few hours Eshan regains her energy back and just started to scan her notes anxious about the up coming test. At the same hour someone knocked at her door.

"Its open" she said and the door swings open.

"Hmm....miss the doctor is here" A maid said and showed the woman inside the room and leaves as Eshan thanked her.

"Shall we begin?" The doctor motioned Eshan to sit down on the bed, checking Eshan with her stethoscope the doctor begins to ask questions.

"Are you asthmatic?"

"No"

"Do you have records of heart problems?"

"None"

"Hmm" She hums and started writing on her clipboard, Eshan suddenly remembers her weight wanting to know if its normal she asked

"Is it normal for me to lost weight without actually doing something?" The doctors eyebrows rose as Eshan waits for her answer.

"Can i weight you right now?" Eshan nods and takes out the scale she used and stepped on it.

"What was the last measurement?" She asked now scaring Eshan a little because of her stiff and serious tone.

"forty-six i guess?"

"Tell me have you been coughing and always feel tired?" The doctor gestures Eshan to take her seat again.

"Actually......yes i have" She answered making the woman gasp.

"Why? what's wrong"
Eshan asked really confused.

"Miss Digroz these are early signs of.......lung cancer.....but of course we don't know yet until we get you in the lab" Eshan stiffens, lost for words.

"No it couldn't be"

"I suggest you to visit the hospital early miss Digroz, it's better to treat this cases early for better chances of survival" She said patting the girls shoulder and going on her way out.

Eshan still puzzled with what the doctor said, ringing in her ear again and again but despite the doctors warning she pushed it aside and pretend that she didn't just heard that she might have cancer.

The day has gone by slow and dull. Eshan decided to head back to Ace house, stepping down on the staircases her parent blocked her way.

"What did the doctor say?" Her Mother began, Eshan observed their faces wrinkled to a confused expression.

She doesn't want to say it yet specially that they're not that sure, Eshan smiles lively "She said i just need some rest......i got to stressed out that's all" She lies.

Eshan's parents released a deep sigh and hugged her "Don't scare us like that okay" Eshan buries her face on the crock of her parents necks and embraced them as much as they did to her.

She haven't said anything because Eshan knows she can't promise not to do it again could she?
