End of Chapter 25 -
Glancing back to the Doctor, who was looking at you, you smile. Content that he finally found you, even though it felt like seconds to you. It could have been years for him, and it looks like it has been. His eyes, although they're soft, show a lot of history. He's aged, not by much, but you can tell he's been through a lot. You're glad you're back with him though, as you watch him fly around the console as he used to when he was his old self.
You're back where you're supposed to be. Now, do you stay or leave?

"Doctor?" You begin.
"Yes, Y/N?"
"Did it hurt? You know... regenerating?" You ask, slowly standing up from your seat and approaching him.
The Doctor sighs before answering you. "It felt like my whole body was on fire, the TARDIS too. I could feel everything around me burning and losing control. Yes it hurt, a lot." He turns away from you and you bow your head down. "It hurt even more because I knew I failed you, left you floating in space. For the most part, I felt like I lost you. I thought I killed you, again."
You want to ask him more about why he left you for so long, stranded in space, but you can't bring yourself to do so. He looked so pained by the fact he didn't search for you for long enough. He's upset that he couldn't find you. He's angered that the Spitfires could in a matter of moments. The regeneration didn't seem to bother him since he turned the conversation back to focus on you, but is he trying to divert you from finding out more?
"Doctor? Tell me more about Amy? If I'm staying on the TARDIS, I should know more about her in order to make conversation with her, right?" You chuckle slightly, and the Doctor turns around again.
"What would you like to know?" He asks you, with a small smile.
"Everything." You state.
"Very well then, Y/N."

In around half an hour, you found out everything about Amy and her family. Her fiance, Rory, clearly didn't approve of the Doctor, and you don't blame him. Raggedy man shows up in a police box and Amy leaves to travel with him? If that ever happened to you, and you were in Rory's place, you'd be jealous and suspicious too. But most of all, you'd feel left out of the loop.
The Doctor told you about the places he's taken Amy so far and the adventures they've had together. He told you about the Starship UK, and the Daleks which tried to take over the world during World War Two. He told you about the Weeping Angels and River Song. "River?" You exclaim, "where is she? Is she okay? The last I saw her was when you saved her in the library. Is she still alive?"
"Well yes and no, darling. Basically, long story short, her time is travelling differently to ours. She's working backwards, which means we met her when she was to die, and she'll come visit us as we progress." The Doctor explains.
"Oh, so she won't be my River?" You clarify, tilting your head slightly.
"No, but she still will be River Song. She's too stubborn to change." He laughs.

Another hour had passed of you and the Doctor talking about his adventures and random things. Amy poked her head into the console room from the stairway and began to strut in, sitting right next to the Doctor and places her head on his shoulder. The Doctor smiles at her before turning back to you and laughing at your comment before she joined you. "Hey, Amy!" You say, smiling at her. She huffs and gets up again. "Doctor, little help here?" You whisper to him.
"Pond. Stay, Y/N wants to talk to you. Get to know you. They're going to stay with us. I owe them that much. Talk! Talk! I have to pilot the old girl to our next destination!" The Doctor encourages, bolting up from his seat and running to the console.
Amy turns her back to you and gets up from her spot. "Amy, wait! I just want to talk to you!" You say, standing up too. "You've been ignoring me since I got here, why?"
"No reason." She replies, sarcastically.
"Clearly there is a reason, Amy. Do you not like me?" You worry, turning to look at the Doctor briefly. "I'm not taking the Doctor away from you, if that's what you're worried about. I'd never intentionally do that."
"Y/N, no. I don't like you. Since you got her, all of the Doctor's attention has been on you. Before you arrived, it was just me and the Doctor. We were happy, travelling the universe and saving people. The normal business with the Doctor, you know? Then you appear on the Spitfire's radar and the Doctor immediately dropped everything to come save you. I know the Doctor is selfless and righteous, but are you really worth all of his attention?" She rants, before storming off to her room.
The Doctor turns his attention to you once again as you begin to tear up. It's only been a couple of hours since you came back to the TARDIS, and now you don't feel welcome at all. "Y/N? What's wrong, darling?" He caresses your back as tears fall down your cheeks. "Did you want me to talk to Amy? Try to make her see sense?"
You wipe your eyes with the sleeve of your t-shirt and sniffle. "It's okay, Doctor. I knew she didn't like me. Don't worry about it, hopefully she'll come round soon." You put on a fake smile and lightly hug him. He returns the hug, resting his chin on the top of your head. His arms snake around your shoulders, as yours wrap themselves around his waist. "Can I ask you a favour, Doctor?" You lift your head up to look at him.
"Sure darling, anything you need. You know I'll always listen." He smiles down at you.
"Take me home."
The Doctor stares down at you before unravelling his arms from your shoulders and slumping them down at his sides. He can't believe what you just said. He's only just found you, and now he's going to lose you again. If Amy would have been nicer to you, surely you would have stayed. "What?" He asks, sadly. "I'm going to talk to Amy, you hang tight and I'll be right back." He kisses the top of your head and runs towards Amy's room.

Amy's Bedroom
The Doctor reaches the door to Amy's bedroom and knocks a few times. She answers almost immediately, as she knows you have no clue where her room is in the TARDIS. "Doctor? What do you want? I'm trying to sleep." She stubbornly asks, not opening the door fully.
"It's two o'clock in the afternoon. I need to talk to you about Y/N." He pleads.
"Fine." She huffs.
The Doctor walks into Amy's room and she shuts the door behind him. She makes her way towards the bed and lies down, her legs slightly parted and one knee raised up. Amy holds herself up on her elbows and gestures for the Doctor to sit next to her, to which he agrees to. "Right, you don't like Y/N, do you? Why?" He asks gingerly, scratching his neck. Amy moves to straddle the Doctor, with one leg either side of him, and he shifts uncomfortably. "Answer me, Amy."
"I got jealous of her taking your attention away from me." She replies as she runs her finger over the Doctor's chest. "I want you all to myself."
"But you're engaged to Rory." The Doctor replies, his voice trembling slightly. "What about Rory?"
"I won't tell if you don't." She winks before pushing him down onto the bed. Amy hovers over him before bending down and kissing the Doctor. His eyes widen as he pushes Amy off of him. "Doctor? What's wrong?"
"I love Y/N!" The Doctor shouts, looking to the door before standing up. "I love Y/N. I won't tell Rory that you kissed me if you don't tell Y/N that I love them."
"Okay Doctor."
