End of Chapter 27 -

The excitement of the both of them was paused when they stumble across a body laying in the alley. Rory is the first to run over, checking for a pulse. "There isn't a pulse. I'm going to check for any physical signs of injury." He turns the girl over and sees two holes in her neck. The girl is pale, almost as though she has no blood left in her body. Her once pink dress stained with drops of blood and her brown hair tossed in every direction possible. Rory sits up on his knees and gets his portable med-kit from his pocket. "Well that's odd. Amy, I think a vampire is here. That isn't possible, right?" Rory begins to panic slightly, alarming Amy.

"Vampire?" She asks, shocked.

The Cellar of the School

"Doctor, what did you show the guards on the psychic paper?" You ask.

"I said I was the Pope Gregory XIII's right-hand man. Surprisingly effective, everyone here is super religious. They'll believe anything you throw at them involving Catholicism." He laughs, "let's find out why we're here."

The Doctor leads you down a stone staircase towards the cellar. The cellar was almost pitch black, and you could barely see a thing. The only thing that made itself visible was the mirror on the wall. The Doctor struts over to it and adjusts his bow tie, turning back to you and smiling. Suddenly, five girls wearing white dresses enter the room. You look in the mirror briefly, expecting to see their reflections, however you see none. What the hell?

"Uh, Doctor?" You whisper, as the girls begin to surround you.

"Pale creepy girls who don't like sunlight and can't be seen in mirrors. Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Y/N? Vampires! It's obvious!" The Doctor laughs, excited just like a kid on Christmas Day.

"Doctor! Not helping!" You panic as the girls get even closer to you, opening their mouths and showing their needle-like teeth.

The Doctor whistles and the girls turn their attention to him. "You're going to tell me your whole plan. Listen, we would love to stay here but we have other places to be, so if you'll be so kind as to excuse us..." The Doctor edges closer to you and quickly grabs your hand, dragging you up the stairs and out of the cellar. The girls do not follow, as they know it is daylight outside.

You exit the House of Calvierri, the Doctor still dragging you by the hand. Guido runs over to the pair of you and begins to ramble about his daughter. "Did you find her? Did you find my Isabella?"

"Ah yes, we did find your daughter. However, she has been turned. She's a vampire, Guido." You softly say, reaching out to place your hand on his shoulder. He steps back before you could do so, shaking his head before running in the direction you assume his house is in. "Doctor, maybe we should go with him. Make sure he's okay and doesn't do anything too drastic." You suggest.

"Good idea, Y/N. Let's go find Amy and Rory first. They should be by the canal, where we left them." The Doctor laughs before grabbing your hand and running to the canal.

Amy and Rory are waiting at the canal, looking out at the sight before them. The Doctor pulls you with him as he runs up to them and engulfs Amy in an enormous hug. "Doctor, we think we're dealing with a vampire!" She laughs, starting to jump up and down, the Doctor still in her grasp.

"Amy, this is nothing to be happy about! You probably watched and read all the Twilight's, but this is nothing like them. If anything, they're probably more like the ones on Supernatural, if you ever watched that." You attempt to stop her excitement. Amy glares in your direction and you stop talking.

"Y/N is right. Although, I've never once watched Supernatural. I have watched Twilight though. Didn't really think much of them, never understood the hype. Anyway, we have a serious problem to deal with." The Doctor relieves his grip on Amy and steps back to be level with where you are standing. He glances at you before continuing. "Guido, a man Y/N and I met, his daughter is trapped with them. She is one of them. However, I do not think that they are Earth's definition of vampire. We'll have to do more investigating, which begins at Guido's house with him. He knows the school and everyone involved, we'll crack the case."

Guido's House

Knocking on the door to Guido's house, you all patiently wait outside until he answers. After a moment, Guido does so and allows you all into his small house. It was cosy, to say the least. Exposed wooden beams were littered around the whole house and books were scattered across every surface.

"I've been reading about The Calvierri School for some time now, Doctor. The Headmistress, she is not to be provoked. Her and her son, they are the dynamic duo of the school. The son, he appears to recruit people to his school and the mother approves or disapproves of them. Either way, they end up dead." Guido explains. You stare at him in amazement, he must really care about getting his daughter back. He's dug into every detail he can about the school and the staff. But, is there any way to save her from being a vampire? Does he know how?

The House of Calvierri

"Mother, we have a problem."

"What, Francesco?"

"There are outsiders here, and one of them poses a threat to us. I think... I think they're here to kill us and try and free the girls. What should we do?" He asks, running into the courtroom where his mother, Rosanna, sat in her throne.

She places her wine glass down and stands up. Her black hair cascading down her shoulder. She's wearing a purple dress which had a eccentric neckpiece attached. "We deal with them, Francesco. Like we do with every threat we stumble across. We're a long way from Saturnyn. We need to deal with them, even if it means killing them."
