Satine lay on her sofa, looking to the city. It was 10 in the night and the buildings are all glowing with lights. Mandalore's night life isn't very big, just a few bars here and there, nothing like Coruscant. A lot of people preferred to stay at home here, but still some people decided to go out.

Satine had long wondered how would her life be if she isn't a Duchess, an important political figure. What would her job be, which part of Sundari would she live in, what kind of friends would she have, all those things that makes a person "normal".

Most importantly though, what would her life be if she and Obi-Wan are both regular citizens. Would they get married? How many kids would they have? All those questions filled her head every once in a while, and when it does, it saddened her, wishing the world to be that simple. Those were when things that came to mind before. Now, when she thinks of it, she would cry for hours in her bed.

Sighing, Satine shook her head and got up from her position. She head for her bed, wanting to just leave today and enter tommorow. As she walked, she saw her clothing rack, and being hanged there is her red cloak.

Satine stopped walking. She looked at it as the idea came into mind. Her head told her not to go, but her heart tells the opposite thing. She was conflicted, but not for long.

Changing the direction, she walked to the clothing rack and grabbed her cloak. She had been listening to her heart too much lately, and she knew it. Would she stop soon? Probably not.

Satine changed into a plain dress and pulled her hair up into a small bun. She puts on her cloak before putting on her boots. Knowing that she's ready, Satine pulled the hood up and quietly opened her door. She surveyed the area before sneaking out.

-------------------------------------------------

Satine let herself breathe the fresh air, though not everything is so fresh here on Sundari. They live in a domed city, the air came from ventilation. Even then, that was the freshest air some people might ever breathe.

She walks down the more darkened streets and alleyways of the city. Not a lot of people are there, mostly just drunken fools or homeless people seeking for shelter. It was a perfect place to go. No one would imagine the Duchess of Mandalore going to such places.

As she went in deeper, people are more violent. Criminals, wanted people, hiding in the shadows of the city. Normally Satine would call on the police and arrested them here and there, but seeing that she doesn't want to bring any attention whatsoever, she lets them pass this time.

Though the area wasn't comfortable at all, it has been the most peaceful place she had gone to in months. A place where no one would come and told her what to do, reminding her of the things she wished so dearly to forget.

Satine stopped dead on her tracks at the sight of a man with brown cloak just 10 feet in front of her. His hood covered his face and his stature was tall and strong. She recognized the cloak, and she can't believe her eyes.

Obi-Wan?

No, she shook her head, trying to get some sense into her mind. He's gone, I'm seeing things.

The man turned around, as if he realized she's looking at him. Although most of the face is covered by the shadow of the hood, she could still recognize the parts that can be seen.

Satine felt her heart beats faster the longer she looked at him. She can feel her jaw drop, not wanting to believe the things she's seeing. And yet, he's standing in front of her.
