The twin suns shine brightly above the endless desert. Sand and rocks covered the place, and almost no life forms to be found.

The entire landscape was barren. No one would like to live there except for some the travelling Jawas and some villages of Tusken Raiders. People would only live there if they don't want to be found, in which in that case, it was perfect for the exiled Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Obi-Wan used his time in Tatooine to endlessly meditate, and to dwell on his regrets no matter how much he told himself to not do so. At night, dreams haunts him, causing him to not be able to sleep. At the day, he would go around, doing for part time jobs for credits.

It was afternoon and the sun is about to set. The night wind starts to blow, causing the former Jedi Master's robes to move ever so slightly. Noticing this, Obi-Wan took it as a sign for him to come home. Sighing, he looked around first before climbing up to his dewback again and head home.

The journey wasn't very long, and sooner than he wanted, he was home again. Obi-Wan tied his ride with a rope to a stick that was sticking to the ground. He gives a little pat and walked away into his home.

Opening his hut's door, Obi-Wan stepped in and closed the door again. For a moment, time set still before he walked deeper into his home. He sat down on his couch, contemplating on what he had done today.

He closed his eyes and crossed his legs and began to meditate. He wasn't sure what will he see or feel or hear, or even anything at all. At first he sees darkness, a void of black that sucks all light. No noise could be heard as well. It was completely empty. It didn't surprise him. But then, faint noises starts to appear.

He heard someone crying. At first he can't barely hear it, but then it got louder and louder until the crying stopped. Obi-Wan furrowed his brows, wondering where did the noise go. First were sounds of silenced footsteps running around, and then an explosion ringed in his ears.

Obi-Wan was shocked. He desperately wanted to know what is the things he's hearing, and what does it mean. After a few seconds, he could barely see a blurry image. It looks like a woman with red hair is running to a rubble in the middle of what seems like a damaged room. She removed the rubble hurriedly with the hands, without a care in the world. The woman looks familiar to him, but he couldn't put his finger on it.

After several moments, from underneath the rubble, another person is revealed. The person had blonde hair. The red haired woman rushed to grab her and laid the other's head on her laps. Although everything is blurry, and the voices were muted, Obi-Wan could feel the sadness the living person is feeling.

That was when the vision stopped and Obi-Wan opened his eyes again. The first thing he noticed is that everything has gone dark and the desert heat has been swapped for the bitter cold. He sat there, contemplating on what he had just seen.

Why did the Force gave me that vision? Obi-Wan wondered internally as he stroked his beard, his signature move. He couldn't see the face of the woman in the vision but something felt familiar, like he had known her. And not to mention the blonde corpse she was holding from underneath the rubble. He felt like he known her his entire life.

After sitting for a while, he gave up trying to find the meaning behind it. Slowly standing up, the former Jedi Master approached one of the limited few tables in his home.

Laying on top of it was a device, a Holonet device. Obi-Wan thought it wouldn't hurt to know what the galaxy is up to, so every once in a while he would check on it. He didn't plan to do so today, but something, like a feeling, led him to it. Obi-Wan grabbed the device and sat back on his couch.

When he turned it on, he looked for some new headlines. He scrolled and scrolled. Nothing seemed to interest him. Everything was just the same, Imperial propaganda, taxation stuff, traitors captured, and more. Obi-Wan almost gave up on searching for something. Almost.
