Silence fell on the room as the realization struck the two. Neither could say a word. They both know that death is upon her and they should start to say goodbye, but neither of them know where to start, or even if they could say it.

Eventually, Satine moved to stood up again. Obi-Wan made his move to help her. She slowly let her feet down and just stood there for a second before walking towards the cockpit, followed by him.

Satine searched the room, looking for comms. Her gaze fell to the device by the co-pilot's seat. Obi-Wan quickly understand what she wants. He gives her a quick glance before making his way there with her trailing behind him.

Obi-Wan sat down and called for the person in the other end. "Hello," he said to it. There wasn't a reply for a see seconds until a male voice came to be heard. "Hello, is auntie there?" he excitedly asked.

Obi-Wan opened his mouth to reply but Satine cuts him off. "I'm here Korkie," she said, smiling. "Auntie you're alive!" he spoke loudly. There was an inaudible noises for moment that neither Obi-Wan nor Satine could understand.

"Satine?" another voice asked, this time a female. Satine's smile grew wider. "I'm here Bo," she affectionately reassured her. There was a voice of someone exhaling. "Oh we were worried. I didn't believe it at first and I nearly killed your boyfriend there when he shows up at Kalevala, asking for our help."

Satine just glanced at the man beside her before turning back at the comms device. Obi-Wan however took a mental note of her not denying the term "boyfriend" in which he himself seriously doubt the validity of the word being used.

"We can now go back to Kalevala together and tell the galax-"

"Bo," Satine interrupts. She hesitated for a moment before adding on. "I can't go back to Kalevala. I can't go back reappearing from the dead."

"What do you mean?" her sister questioned, raising her voice. "You can now go back, take back your throne and status of Duchess of Mandalore and tell the whole galaxy of the crimes the Empire did."

"And risk getting caught by Vader again?" Satine shot back. A moment of silence came by and was disrupted by her sigh.

"I want to come back," she said, now with watery eyes. "But you know as well as I do that that's a bad idea. One that will only get all of us killed."

Satine swallowed her own words. "I think it's best if we don't see each other anymore," she said with a heavy heart. Obi-Wan was caught off guard and his eyes widened in shock. He glared at Satine who was looking down, feeling guilty.

"What?!" Bo shouted. Satine closed her eyes in guilt before talking more. "Vader doesn't know you were there so you can come back, but me and Obi-Wan, we have to go into hiding."

"But Satine-" her sister tried to reasoned with her only for her to interrupt. "Please," she pleaded. "Don't make this any harder than it already is Bo."

Silence fell until an audible sigh came from the other side. "Where will you be hiding at?" Bo asked reluctantly. Satine turned her face to her left to see Obi-Wan's, only to see him shaking his head. She looked back at the comm. "I can't tell you," she answered. "The less people knew, the better."

Another sigh came. Satine looked away hearing it, full of guilt. "Listen," she added. "I know one day we will meet again, when the time comes," she said in half-truth.

"Alright fine," Bo finally fully agreed with a heavy heart. "Just know that Korkie is crying over here," she chuckled. Satine and Obi-Wan did too, as if there was still something joyful from their situation.

Satine smiled though they couldn't see it. "Just know that I will love you until the day I die," she said. The smiles died out in their ship as the two know what those words really meant.
