Days went by and we all tried to lift each other up. I looked for a smaller house since we are one less person in the house. Edwin and Alissa where over at my place playing with Valentina and Angelo. The police have now been a huge part of my life as we try to find who shit Nick. They've asked me a bunch of questions as well as the rest of our friend group. They believe Nick had some kind of drug business which I know he didn't.

@chantelmara We miss you so much my dear. The days keep passing and we try to imagine you here with us. You stuff is still at the same place as you left it, untouched, your perfume gets sprayed at least once a day just to take us back to all of our memories with you. I hope you're watching us proudly and I hope you take in all of the blessings and prayers we keep sending your way. You were our rock, and now I have to take over your place, I have to be what you used to be once, yet you are so irreplaceable, I can never be who you were, no matter how hard I try. - I was sitting with Angelo and Valentina in our backyard eating some pancakes since it was a very sunny day. "How did dada eat his pancakes?" Angelo asks while I'm feeding Valentina
"What do you mean?"
"What fruit did he eat it with, I wanna be like dada." I look at Angelo with tears in my eyes.
"Oh baby, dada used to eat pancakes with a lot of blueberries, he loved blueberries."
"Then I want blueberries too." He says taking the spoon full of blueberries and placing them on his pancake. He took a bite with a smile on his face. He looks up at the sky. "I hope you're eating your pancakes with blueberries up there dad!" He says. I knew I couldn't stop myself from crying. I hugged Angelo and gave him a kiss on the head.
"Dada, eat." Valentina says holding her fork and pointing it at the sky as well. I was so happy they were trying to communicate with Nick. They found a way to keep contact through the tough times.
"You are the best kids a mother could ask for." I say. Valentina giggles and Angelo nods smiling. Teddy was laying next to me in the sun. I take in the scenery and even though Nick was no longer here, I couldn't complain, I have it better than many people and I'm very lucky.
