I woke up with a bit of pain in my back again but the nurses were quick to give me morphine to calm the pain.
"Mom oh my gosh how are you doing?"
Angelo asks, Valentina was right behind him with tears in her eyes.
"Oh mom, We were so worried!"
"It's all good, I feel better now, don't worry. Zion and Cindy are on their way, Bella is also coming from her work a little bit later."
Angelo says. I'm so happy they are still so close with Bella.
"Alright, well I believe I'll be able to come back home in a few days, they just need to keep me a little bit longer to make sure I'm all fine."
I say. Angelo and Valentina both hug me. What did I do to deserve them?
"Chantel, are you okay?"
Cindy asks suddenly walking into the room.
"I'm all good honey."
I say as she gives me a hug. Zion comes in with a cup of coffe.
"Hell, Chantel stop worrying us."
He says. I laugh.
"Hey, this wasn't planned."
"I'm happy you're fine, I had to listen to Cindy the whole way here about how worried she is."
He says, Cindy slaps him over the chest as we all giggle a little. As hours passed more and more people visited. Everyone was so nice and comforting. It felt so nice knowing people cared.
"I'm very sorry guys, but it's getting a bit crowded in here, the visiting hours are also over so it's time to say goodbye."
A nurse says.
"Thank you guys, I love you all so so much. I appreciate everything you do for me."
I say, they all hug me one after another as we exchange some nice words. Angelo and Valentina stayed another minute just hugging me
"I have the best children in the world, I love you more than life itself."
"Oh mom, there is no one out there like you. You are so strong."
Valentina says.
"Yeah, you have given us major opportunities and you're always there when it's needed."
We were all getting super emotional.
"Goodnight mom!"
They both say and give me a last hug and kiss before they start walking out of the room.
"I love you."
Valentina says and blows a kiss. Suddenly I hear my heart machine going like crazy. Valentina looks back at me with wide eyes.
"Oh no."
She says softly, Angelo runs to me.
"No mom!"
They're voices became more echoed. Then suddenly all I could se was a super bright light. I couldn't comprehend where I was or what was going on but I was in a white room. I look at my hands and they looked younger? The more I looked around the more I got used to the light and saw a door in front of me. It opened slowly and I couldn't believe my eyes!
