I was sitting in the café reading a book. The book was about man who was really rich. He could've done anything he wanted. But then a girl stopped him from wasting money on drugs and then they fell in love. But they didn't want to because they hated each other.

I was the only one in the café. I was getting into a really good chapter. Then he walked in. I closed my book and layed it down on the table. I watched as he sat down at the table next to me.

"Hi!" I said as i waved to him. He took out the exact same book that I was reading from his suit. "Hey, I'm reading the same book. I didnt know you liked those kinds of books." I said. "Yeah, well sometimes they can be interesting. I mean, the guy is rich. And he hated a girl who he is also in love with. I mean it's confusing but I want to know how he does it." He said. "I've been asking he same question to myself. Like, how does he hate her but love her? Why does he love her if she did something so horrible? What did she deserve to have someone like him?" I asked myself. He dropped his book on the table and said, " I've been asking the exact same thing to myself. I've been trying to tell myself that it's mentally and physically impossible for something like that to happen, is it? He asked. I shrugged.

" What chapter are you on? " I asked Byakuya. " Chapter 14, page 307." He answered. Bruh, that's the same chapter that I'm on. "Hey I'm on the same chapter!" I said. "And page!" I added. "How unbelievable." He said. I took my book and gave it to him. " Go on the page that my bookmark is on." I demanded. He did what I said. "Oh-" he said. He gave back my book and layed his book down. He fixed his glasses, got up and grabbed some coffee. I followed.

"May I ask you, what is your favorite type of coffee? Dark, light, strong, creamy, sugary, hot, cold, medium-" I got Cutt off. " I thought you sweared you weren't going to talk to me unless I start the conversation." He said. "Whoops, I forgot. But hey you talked back. May you answer my question, please?" I asked. "I like it light, creamy, and hot. And a little bit of sugar." He answered. "Ahhh...That's how I like mine too." I said. I followed him at his table and sat next to him.

"Honestly, I never wanted to talk to someone this badly before. It's weird." I said. "Well, may I ask you not to be like her." He said. Her? "Who's her?" I asked. "A stink ball." He answered. I giggled.

Me and Byakuya decided to read with each other at the library everyday at four o'clock. Unless there's an emergency and we can't. We found out we like the same books and so we read them together. We're both fast readers. We finished nine books in a week.

"Hey. You told me that you like strawberries. I do too. Mind if I buy some for tomorrow?" I asked. His face lit up but he was trying to hide it. "Uh..sure. If you want." He said he was trying to hide a smile behind his book. He straightens up and says, "So you've been listening to everything I tell you. Good for you." He says. I gave him a smile. I'm actually happy that he doesn't bring up my visions. It's weird trying to explain them.

After reading a book, we both left the library. "Hey, have you ever been to a beach?" I asked. "Yes. But I never swim." He answered. "Well, do you like them?" I asked. "I noticed you really enjoyed the view when I tried to talk to you for the first time." I added. "I like the view of the water and the sky. Especially sunsets or sunrises." He answered. "Maybe at seven o'clock we can go to the beach and watch the sunset." I said. He stopped then looked at me. He leaned in and whispered, "If anyone sees us, they're going to think we're a couple. We don't want that, do we?" His breath was warm and smelled like mint. "Don't worry. No one's going to see. If they do, we would tell them were not dating. We're just reading buddies. And that's no lie." I said. He nodded and we walked on. We both went to our cottages and agreed to meet up at the beach at seven o'clock.

It was 6:58 so I got my black skirt on and black and white striped sweater on. I put on my white sneakers on and out the door I went.

I arrived at the beach and I saw Byakuya standing patiently at the beach. He was looking at the water. He was wearing his everyday suit and his hair was blowing in the wind. His hair scent travelled to me and I got a good whiff of coconut.

I walked up to him and poked his back. " Hello!" I said. He turned around and saw what I was wearing, "You're making it seem like a date." He noted. "What do you mean, I'm just wearing my outfit I wear when I walk around the beach. " I said. "Fine." He said. And we started walking.

The sun started to go down so we picked a spot to sit at and just watched as the waves crashed down on the sand one by one. The sun was going slow and calm as it went down.

"I've always did this when I was a kid. I've always just wandered around looking for a beach for me and Max to watch the sunset at. Parents would be asking me where my parents are and I just said, 'they're walking around.'" I said to Byakuya. "It must've been hard." Byakuya said. "Being alone with a dog. Self-taught on how to defend yourself and make your own clothes. Stealing food." He added. "I mean, it was hard at first. Then I got into it. But the worst thing was Christmas or any holiday like that. Halloween was the best because I got free candy. But, Christmas was...really hard. Walking around in a cloth jacket and shoes that were growing out of me. Max in his dog sweater I made him. Seeing family's through windows and kids either being happy or upset about what they got. Honestly just wanted to have a warm house. And a warm family...." I said. "I'm sorry I'm really sad, I know." I added. "There's nothing to be sorry about. Having a childhood like that, is the last thing you should be sorry for. You made it through it, though. And you're going to get through this, too." He said. "Thanks." I said as I nudged his elbow. We both looked at the sun go down.

"Okay, are you serious about all these girls and boys being interested in you?" I asked. He sighed and said, "Sadly, yes." He answered. "Why sadly? That's quite rewarding." I said to him. "Not when all they think about is all the porshes and designer clothes that they'll have. " He told me. "Oh. I'm sorry." I said. "Don't say sorry, I rejected all of them. So I didn't waste a penny on any of them." He added. I smiled at him.

"What about you?" He asked. "Did you have any boys or girls interested in you?" He asked. "No not really as a kid. They all called me Garbage Girl and No-Family-Fanny. But in middle school, a boy asked me out. I rejected because I wasn't really ready for a relationship. And well, in High school, you know how that turned out." I answered. He nodded. The sun was almost down.

When the sun was fully down, it was night time. We got up and walked to our cottages. Before Byakuya walked to his cottage, I said " Hey, uh, thanks. It was a really great night." He stopped and said, "No problem. See you tomorrow." He said. I waved goodbye and went in my cottage.

I've only known him for two weeks and three days and I'm falling in love.
