I stopped in front of the Phoenix Corporation's main entrance and stared at the whole building. Today, I'm officially going to be the new head and handle this company. Si Akira lang kasi ang pinapaharap ko noon sa lahat, but since I already introduced myself, wala namang ibang dahilan para hindi pumunta rito. I now own this company and I will now run this like how I lead the Tahashi Group of Companies.

I left T.G.C. under Kyle's supervision as of the moment, but I will still visit it from time to time. Ako pa rin naman ang C.E.O. dahil pinasa na talaga sa akin ni Kyle ang posisyon noon pa, so I need to keep in touch about the happenings in my company.

Actually, Kyle lends a hand on this one. Sa pagpa-plano palang na makuha ang Phoenix Corporation, nag-alok na kaagad siya ng tulong na tulungan ako sa T.G.C. Siya muna ang a-attend sa mga meetings na hindi ko mapupuntahan ngayong nasa bansa ako, as well as makikipag-deal.

Who am I to not accept it? Siya rin naman ang nag-handle ng T.G.C. noong hindi pa ako okay at noong hindi pa ako nakaka-graduate. He was the one who expanded the company and made a big lift to put it on top.

"Lady Kaye, the board of directors are already waiting for you," Akira informed me. I held my chin high and walked confidently inside the building. Lahat ng makasalubong at madaanan namin empleyado ay binabati kami, pero halata na ilag pa rin at mga naninibago. They surely heard the news about me, being the new owner of this company. Masasanay rin naman sila kalaunan.

I didn't change anything in this company dahil gagamayin ko pa muna at kikilanin ang lahat. They still have the same hierarchy like how the Consuji's left it. Changes might happen kapag nabasa ko na ang mga nandito. Ang owner lang ang nabago. From Consuji's to a Tahashi.

Pagkarating sa floor kung saan nandoon ang conference room, hindi na ako kumatok pa at dire-diretsong pumasok kasunod si Akira. Akira's still my secretary up to now, kaya siya ang lagi kong kasama, pero I already had the knowledge that all secretarial work that is done was just given to her and she's the one giving me the information and such.

Hindi siya ang gumagawa ng trabahong pang-sekretarya because she has too many things to do in DWS. Si Kyle ang pumili sa kanya noon para bantayan ako at pinilit lang gawing secretary. Although gamay na ni Akira ang ilang trabaho na para roon, I still don't let her do the hard tasks dahil ayokong matambakan siya. Being with me all the time is already enough. As much as DWS needs her skills and knowledge, hindi ko rin naman siya mabitawan at mahayaang mag-stay sa Japan.

Ang nag-uusap na mga miyembro ay natahimik bigla nang pumasok kami sa conference room. Napaayos sila ng upo at nanatiling nakamasid sa bawat kilos ko.

Ibinaba ko ang red Chanel bag ko sa may upuan at naupo sa pwesto ko sa pinaka-kabisera. Si Akira naman ay nasa kaliwang bahagi ko at iniabot na sa akin ang folder na may laman ng profile ng board of directors.

Walang sumubok na magsalita kaya napataas ang kilay ko. Seriously? Hindi ba sila nasabihan na simpleng introductory meeting lang ito since hindi ko sila kilala at sila ang part ng kumpanya na 'to? I saw some familiar faces na nasa party kagabi pero hindi ko pa sila lubos na kilala. Do they think na magpapa-meeting kaagad ako about sa company without even knowing them?

Napapikit na lang ako ng mariin at tumayo. Umangat ang tingin nila sa aking lahat.

"Good morning, everyone. Since no one's starting, let me. I know some or all of you know me by my name, but I never showed myself not until last night on the party. I am Kaye Tahashi-Credo, 21, the owner, C.E.O., and President of Tahashi Group of Companies, and now, your new C.E.O., and owner of Phoenix Corporation. It's my pleasure meeting you all, and do not hesitate to talk to me for your concerns regarding the company. I will be glad if you'll help me on this journey as I am still trying to sort things out in Phoenix Corp," pakilala ko pero nanatiling tahimik ang lahat.
