 "Lady Kaye, the visitors are in the receiving area already." I heard Mattheo's voice from my door after he knocked, pero hindi ko iyon pinansin at nagpatuloy sa pag-aayos. I should take my time. It's not my fault na masyado silang maaga sa usapang oras.

I applied my dark red lipstick and smiled at my reflection in the mirror. I really love the red shade of lipstick because it compliments my skin, especially my hair that is dyed in blonde. Bukod rito, I also love this because it enhances and strengthen my features. I don't look so soft. Hindi ako mukhang mahina.

I got up from my seat and went to my walk-in closet. Pinili ko ang Versace Fendace midi dress ko na bigay sa akin ni Akira. It's hugging my body that's why my curves are being shown. Because of my physical training, it helped me enhance my physique, that's why it looks better than before kahit na halos isang taon akong naratay.

To finish my outfit, I paired my dress with my red pumps. As I got satisfied with my look, I walked outside my room to greet my visitors. Everyone is at the backyard dahil doon ko pina-set-up ang dinner. There is a stair on the second floor that is connected to the backyard kaya roon ako dumiretso.

Pagkarating ko sa may hagdan ay nakita ko kaagad ang mga bisitang kanina ko pa pala pinaghihintay dahil I took my time sa pag-aayos. I think I owe them a small apology for making them wait dahil bakas ang disappointment sa mga mukha nila. Oh, my bad.

I walk gracefully going down the stairs. Sinigurado kong maririnig nila ang pagtunog ng takong ko kada hakbang na gagawin ko. Nakuha ko naman agad ang atensyon nila so I plastered a smile on my face.

Ah, what a good scene. Everyone that I invited is all here. The old Lopez's, Leana, Paolo, Liah, Peter, and lastly, Josiah with his daughter.

"Good evening, everyone. I'm sorry for making you wait. Masyado kasing napaaga ang pagbisita ninyo," I greeted them.

"Anyway, thank you for accepting my invitation for a dinner. It warms my heart seeing you all complete on my table," dugtong ko. Nag-aabang si Dmitri sa akin sa may baba ng hagdan kaya inabot ko ang inalok niyang kamay at nakipagbeso.

"You always look stunning, my wife." I raised an eyebrow at him. I scanned his whole look at hindi ko naiwasang mapangisi. He looks awfully hot and handsome in his black turtle neck top paired with his khaki trousers and deep brown combat shoes. Nakaayos din ang buhok niya tulad ng palaging style na ginagawa niya. Napansin ko rin na suot niya ang Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime watch that I gave him as a wedding gift, and also his thin chain na ibinigay ko rin sa kanya.

"And you always know how to look so hot and handsome all the time," I complimented him. He smiled warmly at me at iginiya palapit sa mga naghihintay.

Isa-isa kong tinitigan ang mga bisita namin at nginitian, but my eyes remain with no emotion. Kung kanina ay bakas ang saya roon dahil sa pag-uusap namin ni Dmitri, ngayon ay nawala na iyon. It was only my lips that curves into a smile.

"Ano na naman bang kahibangan 'to, Audrey?! Tinanggap namin ang alok mo para mapaamin ka! Now tell us, nasaan si Mama?!" malakas na sigaw ni Paolo at tumayo. I didn't blink even once. Tinabingi ko ang ulo ko at pinanatili ang ngiti sa labi.

Ipinaghila ako ni Dmitri ng upuan sa kabilang dulo ng mesa kaya naupo ako roon. Siya naman ay sa kabilang kabisera naupo.

"Why are you always so hot-headed, my dear stepbrother?" I asked Paolo. I commanded the waiters on the side to serve us the wine. Sinalinan nila ang mga wine glass namin, at sinimsim ko naman ang akin.

"Anyway, are you asking for her?" tanong ko at tinuro ang bandang kusina. Lumabas doon si Leana kasunod ang dalawa sa mga tauhan ko na pinasama. Leana threw me a dagger look, pero nang makita ang pamilya ay nabigla ito at tumakbo palapit sa kanila.
