"Let's land there! I'm sure Appa could use a drink, and I really wanna go swimming!" We started to go down, to a water hole I assume.
"Sokka...can I?" Suki had fallen asleep and it was no use to hold onto her. "Sure thing!" He moved closer so I could get a grip on him.
I released a breath as I grabbed his arm. "Don't take this as anything more than my fear. Got it?"
"Okay, geez! We're almost down anyways." We declined more and finally landed.
"Hey, Suki! Wake up!" I punched her and let go of Sokka. She groaned. "I'm up...."
She helped me down and everyone found a tree to hide behind so they could change into their swimsuits. I found a rock I liked and sat there.
"You aren't gonna swim? Its not to deep." A breeze blew my skirt around my knees. "No, I don't like water to be honest. Go have fun with your sister."
My legs were hanging from the ledge. I don't know how high up we were but as long as I could feel the ground, I didn't care.
"She's still mad at me...look I'm sorry Yue told me. I understand why Suki is mad, but why you? Shouldn't you be angry with Yue?"
I sighed and dusted off a spot next to me. He sat down. "It's my own business. Listen, it's been a few months. To think I have to get married after next month is insane. That's why I want you to meet my possible fiance."
Even though I had no sense. I could still feel his blood run cold. "Sure! But for now let's just relax."
We sat in silence. Not awkward silence. A silence that made it feel like we were the only people on earth. One that made us relaxed.
He scooted closer. "Toph I-" I shut him up by leaning my head on his shoulder. "Me too Meathead."
