Chapter 6: Beach Day!

"Giichi! Hurry up! We're waiting for you!" Tsutako called to her brother who was still upstairs "fixing his things" he said. The truth was that Giichi was preparing himself physically and mentally 'You must act like a gentleman, Giichi! No perverted thoughts when you see Shinobu Nee- San!' He thought to himself as he slapped both of his cheeks.

He wore a a dark blue shirt with the word 'slay' written in Kanji at the back. He paired it with his velvet red swimming trunks and yellow slippers "Coming!" He replied as he ran down the steps. He saw Sabito and Makomo there waiting for him "Kanae and the others are waiting in the- Ah! Kanae- chan." She said as she noticed Kanae come out of the car. They had rented a van to carry everyone that was coming on their beach trip "It was cold so I came out for now." She laughed her arms clasped around her attempting to warm herself. She wore a pink cropped shirt with a black skirt and sneakers. She was still shivering a bit "If you're cold, you could've just told me." Sanemi said as he wrapped her with a blanket. It was supposed to be used as their picnic mat, but for the meantime she could use it since it was his "T-Thanks." She replied with a smile. They all felt giddy by the scene in front of them. The van's door suddenly slid open "Nee- San, are we going yet? We'll lose the spot we've been planning to stay at." Shinobu said as she walked out. Giichi's jaw dropped down to the ground as he saw her. She wore a yellow fitted tank top that was tied into a knot in front which caused him to see her slightly toned stomach. She paired it with denim shorts and sandals. They could see the blood slowly dripping from one of his nostrils. Giichi then remembered what he had told himself in his bedroom and punched himself in the face 'DESTROY!' He thought to himself as he landed the blow on his face. Everyone was worried why he did that "Giichi! What the hell is wrong with you!?" Sabito said as he and Makomo caught Giichi's falling body "I-I must destroy all evil thoughts." Giichi said as his hand twitched. Tsutako handed him a tissue to wipe the blood from his nose "Let's get going then!" Tsutako said as they headed towards the van. They could fit 8 people in the van but they were only 7. Two in the front, three in the middle, and two in the back "Who wants to sit in the back?" Kanae asked as she looked at who she could put there. She thought of a plan to put Giichi and Shinobu together in the back. She gave her signal to Tsutako with a nod "Giichi, why don't you sit in the back?" Tsutako suggested pointing to the back. Giichi looked at her suspiciously as to what she was planning "I don't mind." He replied as he hopped in.

"Shinobu!~" Kanae called her beloved sister. The younger looked at her and responded with a hum "Let's go!" She said grabbing the Shinobu's arm and pulling her towards the van, but when they got there, Kanae pushed her into the back with Giichi and put the folded seat up. Giichi broke her fall as her head landed on his chest to which he blushed "Nee- San, that wasn't necessary!" She exclaimed at her sister. She just smiled in reply and sat beside Sanemi up front. Makomo first entered, sitting in front of Giichi. Next was Sabito, then Tsutako who swung the door shut "Let's get this road trip started!" Tsutako said as many started cheering and Sanemi started driving with a wide smile.

The drive to the beach was filled with tons of things. Others listened to music, some talked, some played games, and some were reading. Giichi was playing on his Nintendo Switch with Sabito. Makomo was taking turns to play with the two. Whoever lost, they'd take their place against each other. This went on for a few minutes until they became dizzy. Giichi kept his Switch and rested in the car seat. Sabito and Makomo were out cold as they leaned on each other for support. Giichi's eyes landed on Shinobu reading a book. He noticed that she shivered a bit and was rubbing her hands against each other occasionally. He then rummaged through his bag and handed her his beach towel. She looked at him shocked at the sudden action and blinked at him confused "You were shivering so I thought you were cold." He said avoiding her gaze. She gave him a smile and thanked him as she wrapped the towel around her cold body. Giichi thought that nobody had heard or seen that, but they were all watching in the rear view mirror 'He'll be a fine gentleman when he's older.' The girls thought as they saw what happened.
