Chapter 3: Coincidence?!

Giichi crossed the road with Sabito and Makomo as they were just chatting about the new  Demon Samurai volume that was about to come out. They passed by a bakery, Kamado's Bakery, it read in a fine gold print. Outside stood the girl Giichi thoughts he'd never see again. He was noticed by Shinobu as she waved at him with a smile. He waved back with a small smile and a dark blush across his cheeks. Both Sabito and Makomo looked at the two back and forth. They smirked as they came to a conclusion. It was like they were communicating through their minds as they had an idea "Gii- Kun! We'll race you to school!" Makomo said as she and Sabito started sprinting off. They knew he couldn't run because of his wound from the other day "W-wait up!" He yelled, but to no avail. He was left there with Shinobu as she laughed at his friends "I could walk you to school if you'd like." Shinobu offered. Her elder sister would understand "S-sure. Th-thanks.." He blushed. She went into the bakery "Nee- San, I'll go ahead. Is that alright?" She asked. Her sister nodded as she was waiting for a particular police officer to come by and get his coffee and donuts. She came back out as they started their walk. They chatted on the way to Giichi's school. They both happened to like Demon Samurai. Shinobu was just a closet fan so not many people knew she read such stuff. They talked about many other things until they reached the school gates. Shinobu crouched down to meet his height. At his age he was averagely tall while Shinobu stood at 5 feet at the age of 17 "My school is really near to yours so I guess I'll be seeing you more often, Giichi- san." She said showing a wide smile. His heart fluttered at the way she said his name. He replied with a smile. His body felt like it was moving on it's own when he suddenly leaned in to kiss her cheek, but his finger was touched by a finger "I guess I'll get going then." She laughed at his cute gesture "R-r-right! I'm very sorry, Shinobu Nee- San!" He bowed. He was completely embarrassed at his actions "No need to worry about it. See you around, Giichi- san!" She concluded her farewell by kissing his forehead "S-see y-y-ya Sh-Shinobu Nee- San!" He said as a small drop of blood came out of his nose as he blushed tomato red. Shinobu found his reaction pricelessly cute and waved at him while walking off. He stood there stiff from what just occurred. The people that stood around the area looked at the scene. Some were shocked and others found it cute. Among those people were Sabito and Makomo, ready to tease him.

"Kochou, I'm hurt."

Shinobu heard a voice say as she walked off. She turned back to see if anyone was there, but to see no one. In the distance she could see Giichi being teased by his friends as his face was red. She smiled and felt her heart warm up 'I just kept my composure, but I feel like crying.' She said in her thoughts. It felt oddly nostalgic meeting him. She brushed off the feeling and met some of her friends at her school gate.

Timeskip~~

*DING DONG*

GIICHI

"Kanae- Chan! You came!" I heard my sister yell as I came out of the bathroom. I heard girls chattering right after "Giichi! Come say Hi!" She called me. I hurried up a bit going down "Nee- San, I was already on my way do-" I stopped talking as I saw the visitors we had. The one next to my sister had long black hair and bangs split in the middle. Beady purple eyes with light smooth skin. She wore two red ribbons on the left and right side of her hair. Her outfit was a dark red turtle neck tucked in to a black skirt that reached above her knees. Right next to her was "Ara. Giichi- kun." Shinobu said with a smile. My sister looked at me and back at her. My face instantly blushed at the fact that she was here, in MY house, right in front of me again "Shinobu- chan, you know Giichi?" My sister asked her curious about how we met "I met him a few days ago. He tripped on the sidewalk so I aided to his wound. I also walked him to school this morning because his friends raced to their school." She said chuckling a bit at the funny memory "Ooooh." My sister said as she looked back at me and smirked. She knew something wasn't normal with my blushing face "Oh my! The last time I saw Giichi- kun was when he was this tall. He sure grew up a lot." My sister's friend, Kanae, said while coming up to me and squishing my cheeks. I was very familiar with her because she was Nee- San's best friend. I just smiled as she continued on squishing them "What a mature young boy you are, Giichi. Your house would've burned down if it weren't for you." She laughed. Tsutako Nee- San blushed out of embarrassment "H-hey! Let's f-forget about that okay!" Nee- San said as she pouted. We all laughed at her embarrassed face. I looked at Shinobu Nee- San while she was laughing. Her smile made me fuzzy inside. It warmed up my heart. Her laugh was heavenly to my ears.

"Giichi?" My sister's voice cut my train of thoughts. She waved her hand in front of my face as I blinked a few times "A-Ahh! We should go to the living room!" I panicked and pushed Nee- San to the living room as the other two sisters followed.

SHINOBU

We followed the two to their living room "You might date younger men, Shinobu." My sister whispered to me. I looked at her confused "Just wait until Giichi graduates he'd be the perfect man for you." She ended with a smirk. I sightly flushed at her delusions "Nee- San your imagination really isn't logical." I said avoiding the fact it might happen "You'll see. He looks at you with loving eyes and he will continue to even until he finishes college." She teased. I didn't reply and just brushed it off.

'That'll never happen.' I thoughts to myself.
