Later at Sammyville High, Eric, his younger sister Angela, and his friend Cody Simon met each other in the gymnasium once again for wellness class. Eric changes into his gym shorts, grabs his football from his locker, and walks out of the locker room. He finds Angela talking to Cody sitting on the bleachers while he was trying to read a book. "Come on!" She said. "Get up lazy!" Cody looks at her. "Why?" He asked softly. "We have gym stuff to do!" Said Angela. "Duh!" Cody looks back at his book. "I don't feel like it." He said. "I just wanna read my book for now." Eric approaches the two. "What's going on here?" He asked. "Eric," said Angela. "Can you get his lazy butt up?" Cody looks back at Angela again. "You're not my mother." He said. Eric then realizes that something was bothering him. So he decides to talk to him for a minute to see what was wrong. "Angela," he said to his sister. "Go do something fun somewhere. I'll talk to him." "Okay." Said Angela. She runs away. "And don't run too much!" Eric continued. "Okay!" She yelled back. Eric sits down next to Cody on the bleachers. "What's going on emo kid?." He asked. Cody continues to look at his book. "I'm fine." He said. "I'm just tired." Eric crosses his arms. "We all are." He said. "But it's our last week of school." Cody closes his book and puts it away. "For you it is." He said. "You're a senior and I'm a junior." Eric realizes that Cody was worried about being alone next school year. Eric is his only friend and now that Eric was graduating, he doesn't really know what he was going to do. "You're the only real friend I've ever had Eric." Cody continued. "You still have my sister Angela to talk to." Said Eric. "She's only a sophomore." "How can I talk to somebody that doesn't even know how I feel?" Asked Cody. Eric laughs. "Dude," he said. "She knows." Cody becomes confused. "What do you mean she knows?" He asked. "Me and her talk about our friends all the time." Said Eric. "Just me and her." Cody oddly looks at him. "Uh huh." He said. "You know she also has anxiety and asthma." Eric continued. "She has problems of her own. She's a good listener. Trust me. She knows how you feel. Just talk to her next year. She'll listen." "You said she has anxiety." Said Cody. "What is she afraid of?" "Oh a lot of things." Said Eric. "She's mostly just afraid of death." "Really?" Asked Cody. "That's dark." "Yeah." Said Eric. Every time she looks at a murder case on t.v or just hearing someone passing away, she becomes scared of how she's gonna die one day." "Wow." Said Cody. "I never thought she was like that." "Her asthma isn't helping her either." Said Eric. But like I said, she'll be there for ya next year."
