Ferris goes out of the room to go back to his van. "Where are you going?" Asked Bain. "There is something I need to bring in here." Said Ferris. "I'll be right back." As they all wait for the professor to return, everyone begins to admire Taren. Angela walks up to him. "I-I didn't have a chance to thank you." She said nervously. "For saving me." Taren grins back at her. Eric, Cody, and Casey stood as they watch her talk to the Lightning Creature. "I can't believe it." Said Eric. "Out of all the things she's been afraid of, she is not afraid of this creature at all!" Suddenly, Ferris returns with a weird looking device. "What is that?" Asked Bain. Ferris grins. "You will see." He said. He approaches Taren again. "Come closer." He said. Taren leans his head closer to the professor and Ferris puts the device around the monster's neck. "What is that guy doing?" Asked Cody. "I don't know." Said Eric. "That's the strangest lookin collar I've ever seen." Ferris flips a switch on the device and lights turn on going around it. Suddenly, they hear a voice coming from the gadget. "Hello, Hello." Said the voice. Everyone was shocked of what they had heard. "He talks!" Said Casey. Ferris explains to everyone in the room of what the device was. "That is Taren's translator." He said. "It helps him communicate with humans. Every word you hear from the translator, is coming from Taren himself. There is a chip located into his brain that's telling the translator what he wants to say." "So what now?" Asked Bain. Ferris looks at the Sheriff. "Let's talk to him." He said. He looks back at Taren. "Why did you come back here?" He asked. Taren looks down at the professor. "You should have known by now." He said. "Know what?" Asked Bain. "Phoenix and Haze." Said Taren. "They've escaped and came here. Every human in this town is in danger." "Yeah you don't say." Smith said quietly. Taren looks at Smith. "I remember you." He said. Smith froze. "You're that police officer I saw the other night. I hope I didn't scare you too much." Smith wipes sweat from his forehead. "Yeah uh-" Smith said nervously. "I'm sorry I tased you earlier." Taren smiles. "Don't worry about it." He said. "I'm a lightning creature. Electricity does no harm to me." He takes a closer look at Smith's burned face and his smile fades away. "Let me guess," he continued. "Phoenix did that to you?" "The demon?" Asked Smith. "Yes" Said Taren. "I consider you lucky." Bain walks in front of Smith. "Can you stop those freaks that are out there?" He asked. "I'm afraid its quite difficult." Said Taren. "And even if it was easy to do so, I cannot leave this place in another two hours." The police remembered the reason why. "That's right!" Said Smith. "He comes out at midnight!" "Well that's just great!" Said Bain. "Then I guess we're all screwed!" "Although," Taren continued. "I do know someone who could possibly help you with those two trouble makers." "And who might that be?" Asked Eric. "The Ice Spider." Said Taren. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind assisting you." The teens were confused for a moment. "What the heck is an Ice Spider?" Asked Eric. Bain and Smith looked at Ferris for a response. "Follow me." Said Ferris.
