"We'll," said Eric. I need to practice. I'll see ya later I guess." Suddenly, Cody gets up from his seat. "I'll come too." He said. Eric quickly turns around. "Say what?" He asked. "Like you said." Said Cody. "You need to practice and I'm a good catch." Eric smiles. "Well come on then." He said. They both go to the other side of the gym and started throwing Eric's football back and forth to one another. Angela notices and rushes towards them. Suddenly, while she was running, she unexpectedly collapsed on the floor motionless. Eric immediately notices her. "Oh my God!" He yelled. "Angela!" Eric, Cody, and high school coach Corey Bucks rush over to help. Other students notice and rush over as well. They get to Angela, hoping that she was alright. "Everyone give her some room!" Said Corey. He looks at her lying on the floor. She's conscious, but she was struggling to breathe. "She needs her inhaler!" Said Eric. He rushes to Angela's backpack that was sitting on the bleachers to get her inhaler. "Oh where is it?" He said panicking. He finally finds it and runs back to Angela. "I got it!" He said. "Here Angela. Take this." He hands it to her. "Easy sis." Said Eric. "Easy!" She finally catches her breath and starts crying. Eric hugs her to calm her down. "Its okay!" He said. "You're okay." Eric and Coach Corey help her to the nurse's office to have her checked out. Later, the nurse checks her out to see if she was going to be alright. "Well Angela," she said. "You're strength is back and your breathing is back to normal. Do you feel ok now?" "I'm fine now." Said Angela. "You don't want me to call your parents to pick you up?" Asked the Nurse. "No." Said Angela. "Are you sure?" Asked Eric. "Yeah." Said Angela. "If you have trouble breathing again," said the Nurse. "You come right back here if you can make it. Alright?" "Okay." Eric and Angela go back to the gym. Eric buys a bottle of water to give to his sister. "Here." He said. "Sit down and drink this." He gives the bottle to her. "You sure you're okay?" He asked again. "Yes I'm sure." She said. "It just scared me a little." "Yeah." Said Eric. "It did me too. I'm gonna go walk around the gym for a while. Just sit there on the bleachers for the rest of the period. Okay?" "Okay." Said Angela. Eric walks away. "See you later!" Before he could even begin his walk, Coach Corey stops him. "How's your sister?" He asked him. Eric looks back at her. "She's fine." He noticed that she wasn't happy because she seemed alone. He gets an idea. "I'll be right back Coach." He said. He runs to the other side of the gym where Cody was. Cody notices Eric coming his way. "How is she?" He asked putting his earbuds away. "She's fine." Said Eric. "Where is she?" Asked Cody. "She's on the bleachers." Said Eric. "She looks upset." Cody rolls his eyes. "You'll get used to it." He mumbled. Eric grins. "You know," he said. "I think this is it." "What do you mean?" Asked Cody. "I think this is the moment where you and her start talking." Cody begins to feel a bit awkward. "You acting like you want me to date her or something." He said. "I'm saying she's feeling down right now and she needs someone to talk to." Said Eric. Cody looks back at Angela from a distance. "Okay." He said. He walks to the bleachers at the other side of the gym where Angela was sitting. Cody sits down next to her. She looks at him. "Hey Cody." She said to him. "Hey." Said Cody. "I see you're breathing again." "Oh yeah." Said Angela. "That scared me." "I bet." Said Cody. Meanwhile Eric finally starts walking around the gym while Cody and Angela talk to start a friendship for the next school year.
