Everyone left the abandoned laboratory leaving Taren behind. They were on their way back to the new laboratory, where Crystal was. "Are you sure this is such a good idea Professor?" Bain asked. "It is worth a try." Said Ferris. "I thought she was hibernating." Said Smith. "Actually," Said Ferris. "She just doesn't like warm weather. But she's just going to have to get over it. I will say that she's not as nice as Taren. If we can convince her to help stop these two that are out there, it just might end all of this madness." Bain once again became confused. "I understand her stoping the demon," he said. "But what about Haze?" "If Crystal can just stop Phoenix somehow," said Ferris. "Haze will have no idea what to do. Because right now, he's in Phoenix's control." Bain becomes worried. "I just hope this goes well." He said. Meanwhile in the back of the van, the high school students were fascinated by all that was happening. "This can't be real!" Said Casey. "Like why are we here anyway?" "More like, why do these monsters exist?" Asked Eric. "I never thought this was possible!" "No one did." Said Cody. The van makes it to the new facility and everyone walks inside the building. They go into the room where Crystal was. The teens take a good look at her. "Ugh!" Said Casey. "What's wrong with you?" Asked Cody. "I'm never comfortable around spiders." Said Casey. "Especially with one THAT size." "I don't know." Said Angela. "I think she's pretty." Casey looks at Angela with one eyebrow raised. "Okay this girl's like super weird." She whispered to herself. Ferris prepares his lab workers to unfreeze Crystal from hibernation. "Alright everyone." He said. "I want everyone to stand back as we wake up Crystal. Just don't make any sudden movements in front of her as she comes out." As everyone else stands back at a safe distance, Ferris gives the scientists the order to unfreeze Crystal. "Alright," he said. "Wake her up!" The scientists flip all the switches and presses all the buttons to melt the ice with Crystal inside. The ice begins to melt away. "Steady now!" Said Ferris. As most of the ice already melted, Crystal opens her many eyes and stares directly at everyone in the room. She frees her legs out of what was left of the ice and climbs down from the machine. "Um professor Volkof?" Eric said nervously. "She doesn't look too happy." "She always gets a little cranky when she first wakes up." Said Ferris. "Let me take care of her." He approaches Crystal cautiously and tries to calm her down. "Easy girl!" He said. "Easy!" Crystal hisses at the professor with anger. "Its me Crystal." Ferris continued. "Dr. Volkof. Remember?" Crystal shakes her head, stomps her legs, and continues to hiss at everyone. She suddenly climbs the wall and then walks on the ceiling. "Get down from there!" Said Ferris looking up. "We don't have time for your attitude." He desperately tries to get Crystal down from the ceiling. "Just let her cool off a bit." Ferris continued. Cody starts laughing. "Did he say that as a joke?" He asked. Crystal jumps down from the ceiling and walks towards everyone. "Cody." said Eric. "I think you've ticked her off." As Crystal got closer to Cody, they stare at each other face to face. As Cody closed his eyes to prepare for the worst, Crystal blows ice mist in his face, causing his hair to freeze. "My hair!" Said Cody. Everyone began laughing of what just happened. "I think she cooled you off!" Said Angela. "Oh my gosh!" Said Casey. "That was hilarious!" Even Ferris thought it was funny. "Don't worry." He said to Cody. "That's just her sense of humor." Ferris faces Crystal. "I hope you can understand me." He continued. "But we need you to come with us Crystal."
