Everyone was nervously waiting in the vans for something to happen Suddenly, they notice people coming out of the school. "Look!" Said Angela.
All the victims who were in the cafeteria, made it safely outside. Maxwell went to Corey to ask him what was happening. "You alright?" He asked. "I think so." Said Corey. "What's happening in there?" Asked Maxwell. "There's some kind of monsters in there!" Said Corey. "They're destroying the place!" "Is there anyone else in the school?" Asked Maxwell. "Yeah." Said Corey. "They've all scattered." Meanwhile back in the school, Bain, Crystal, and the other officers continue to track down Phoenix and Haze. "Where'd he go?" Asked Bain. They all went into the gymnasium to see if Phoenix was hiding somewhere. They look cautiously around in the gym for Phoenix. "He's here somewhere." Said Bain. "Keep your eyes open." "Yes sir!" Said one of the officers. Suddenly, Crystal takes off to the other side of the gym. "Where are you going?" Asked Bain. She climbs the wall and onto the ceiling tiles. "Now what is she doing?" Asked Bain. She starts sneaking up on closer to whatever she was looking at. Bain realizes. "I think she sees something!" He said. "Get ready!" Suddenly, out of nowhere, another fireball hits Bain behind his head knocking him out. "Sheriff!" Said one of the officers. Crystal looks down and Haze captures her and throws her into the band equipment in the corner of the gym. The officers became frightened as they saw Haze over their heads. One of the officers picks up his radio for help. "Sheriff Bain is down!" He said. "We need backup! I repeat! We need backup!" The officers had nowhere to go. They were surrounded by the dangerous creatures. Suddenly, the sprinklers were activated from the ceiling and water was pouring down on Phoenix he retreats again to try his best to escape the sprinklers from putting him out. Haze follows behind him. The officers looked behind them and saw Eric, Angela, Cody, and Casey standing in the doorway of the gym. They had turned on the sprinklers manually because they thought it might have been Phoenix's weakness since he was made of fire. "You guys okay?" Asked Eric. "What are you kids doing here?" Asked one of the officers. "Its too dangerous here!" Smith comes behind them. He notices the injured Sheriff on the floor and rushes towards him. "Sheriff!" He said. "You alright?" Bain remains unconscious from Phoenix's attack. "We found everyone else in the school who was still trapped." Said Eric. "They're all outside now." "That's great news!" Said Smith. "But we still have to stop these two." Suddenly, they hear large pounding sounds coming from the locker room. "That doesn't sound good." Said Smith. The wall suddenly explodes and Phoenix and Haze come out fused together in one even more terrifying monster. "I don't believe it!" Said Eric. "They've fused together!" "Where there's smoke," said Cody. "There's fire." The monster let's out a disturbing growl and gets closer to everyone that was at the doorway of the gym.
