EMILYS POV:
I ran to the bathroom and threw up violently for the third time today.
"What is wrong with me?" I said to myself as I cleaned my face off and heard the door slam shut, which meant Daniel was home.
I stood up suddenly feeling dizzy but still I made my way to the top of the stairs and looked down to Daniel, "Where were you?"
He responded with a sigh, "Work kept me back late."
This was an excuse I hardly believed but I didn't have the energy to argue so I started making my way down the stairs. I got three steps from the bottom when everything became blurry and I heard Daniel scream my name before it all went black.
DANIELS POV
I had just spent the afternoon with Sara, it was a week before the wedding and I'd been meaning to break it off with her but not today.
As usual when I got home Emily didn't greet me with happiness, she was cold, unlike the woman I'd fallen in love with two Summers ago.
She had been acting strange the past few weeks and I assumed it was the pressure of the wedding but when she fell down the stairs I realised it might be more than that.
"Emily!"
I caught her just before she landed on the floor and carried her to the couch. I quickly dialled 911 and told them what had happened and urged them to hurry. They said they would arrive shortly.
Emily was unconscious but breathing.
15 minutes later the ambulance arrived and paramedics rushed inside, within minutes she was on a stretcher being carried out to the vehicle where I got in next to her before we headed towards the hospital.
The paramedic was talking to his colleagues and asking me for her details.
"Name?"
"Emily Thorne"
"Age?"
"Twenty-Nine"
"Is there any chance she could be pregnant at all?"
He looked at me expectantly and that's when I started to piece it together, Emily wasn't stressed because of the wedding, she was pregnant.
I was cheating on my pregnant fiancé and now she was going to hospital.
When I looked up the paramedic was still staring at me,
"Yes, there's quite a big possibility she's pregnant."
