EMILYS POV
I had no idea where I was. I assumed somewhere in the city in an old building. I could've easily escaped by now if I wasn't pregnant and I wasn't going to risk the baby's life.
"You know my husband will find me and he will destroy you" I snarled at the guy who was watching me.
He walked up to me, "Is that so?" He leant down and whispered in my ear "I'd like to see him try" then he hit my stomach and walked away. I squeezed my eyes in pain.
"There'll be more of that if you don't shut up." He laughed evilly at my pain.
I knew I had to try a different approach, "You know you are wasting your time. I was lying before. Daniel doesn't love me."
The guy looked at me and rolled his eyes "I'm not letting you go so you might as well be quiet."
"I don't expect you to let me go." I said looking at the cards on the table he was sitting at, "Who are you playing with? Yourself?"
He stood up and walked over "Shut your stupid little mouth or I'll send you back to your husband all bruised and broken" I laughed as he said that.
"I was just messing with you. I'll play a game of cards with you" I said hoping he would untie me.
"Yeah right. Like I'm letting you go" he said.
"Seriously? How am I going to get out of here?" I asked him
He looked around, "Alright. It's better than listening to you go on and on." He untied me and at that moment Daniel burst through the doors with Victoria behind him and ran over and hugged me, "Em are you okay? Are you hurt?" He asked and put a hand on my stomach. I winced in pain and he lifted up my shirt and saw a purple bruise starting to form.
He looked around and saw the guy, "You hit my wife?" He ran towards him and punched him in the jaw. The guy tried to fight back but Daniel pinned him on the ground and was about to hit him again. I ran over to them and pulled Daniel away. "We have to go get this checked over. There could be something wrong" I said pointing to my stomach trying to distract him.
He nodded and Victoria walked over to us, "Our deal Daniel?" He laughed, "Yeah there's been a slight change of plans with that" we walked outside and there were multiple police cars parked out the front. Daniel pulled me away before I could see anything else happen.
On the way to the hospital I told him what happened and he told me what happened with him. He said Victoria wasn't a threat to us anymore because she will have to go to court and sit through a trial to decide whether or not she goes to jail.
I sighed with relief as we pulled up. We went inside and the doctor did an ultrasound, "I'm afraid something has happened." I looked down hoping what happened last time wouldn't repeat itself.
"Mrs Grayson, you're going to have to go into labour. Now" he said quite urgently.
