Everything was going well. Emily was 8 months pregnant and obeying Daniels orders to rest for the baby. One day she was sitting in bed reading, Daniel was at work and she thought she heard something downstairs. She slowly stood up and walked to the top of the stairs to see someone standing there. They grabbed her before she had time to run and put her in a black car and tied her up.
Daniel got a call in the middle of the day saying the alarm system had been activated. He called Emily but there was no answer. He decided to go home and check on her.
DANIELS POV
I got out of the car and saw the doors open which was very unusual because Emily generally kept them closed. "Em?" I called out to her as I ran up the stairs. I saw her book lying on the floor and knew something was wrong. I searched everywhere for her and called her phone multiple times with no answer.
I called the police to report her as missing and paced around the house. My mother walked through the door as I ended the call. "Mum, what are you doing here?" I asked her.
"I came to see Emily" she had a bunch of flowers with her, "Is she here?"
I hugged my mother, "Shes gone mum. She went missing and I don't know what to do."
She looked shocked but as she turned around I saw a hint of a smile appear on her face and that's when I realised.
"You!" I yelled at her and grabbed her arm, "You got one of your henchmen to kidnap her." I shook my head in disbelief.
"How could you ever think me capable of such a thing?" She looked worried but I could tell it was fake.
"I SWEAR IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO EMI-" I started to raise my voice when she slapped me.
"Don't threaten me!" She spat at me, "I do the things for you because I love you"
I glared at her, "TAKE ME TO EMILY NOW! IF YOU DONT ILL PRESS CHARGES AND I WILL DRAG YOU THROUGH COURT AND NO ONE, I SWEAR NO ONE WILL BE ON YOUR SIDE. EVERYONE WILL KNOW YOUR LITTLE SECRET STASH OF HENCHMEN YOUVE GOT HIDDEN AWAY!" I screamed at her.
She seems slightly intimidated, "I will take you to her if you promise me one thing."
"What?" I sighed angrily.
"You divorce her and get rid of that baby." She looked so evil as she said it.
I sighed, "Okay you win, I'll divorce her and get rid of the baby." I glared at her and knew what I had to do.
