31 - Framed like a photograph

EMILYS POV
"Daniel!" I yelled out, "I want to see Daniel! I want to see my husband!" I glared at the investigator.
"Mrs Grayson you will be able to see him after you've answered these questions. Where were you from 4pm to 9pm this afternoon?" He asked calmly despite my outbursts
"I was asleep. I have 3 alibis, ask David Clarke, Daniel Grayson and Nolan Ross." I said with a slight smirk.
"Oh we did, they all left just after you fell asleep, giving you enough time to kill Victoria Grayson." He said like it was already proven.
"What proof do you have?" I asked.
He pulled out a tape and played it, "Get out or I swear you'll never see the light of day again!"
Victoria was wearing a wire, I knew it wasn't a coincidence she came.
"Do you have anything to say?" He asked me.
"I-I want to speak to a lawyer." I said with a shaky voice.
He nodded, "One more question, What was your problem with Victoria Grayson?"
"She put my father in jail." I whispered.

A few hours later I was in a room with one seat and I heard someone walk towards me, I looked up and saw Daniel. He was let into the room and I ran to him and he embraced me, "Emily, I'm so sorry." He kissed my head and pulled away, "We are going to get out of this, I promise."
"Is she really gone?" I asked.
He nodded, "Yes"
"Are you okay?" I asked, even though I loathed Victoria, Daniel had still lost his mother.
"I'm fine. My parents haven't been a part of my life for a long time. I just want you out of this mess. We should never have left you home alone." He shook his head.

"It's not your fault. Your mother was wearing a wire when I threatened her and that is their evidence." I told him.
He nodded, "I'll find out who did this to you, I promise and I'll get you out. I love you" he kissed me quickly before the guard told him the time was up.
I was taken into a cell and it reminded me of the place I was kept in when I was in juvi. I hated it and I wanted to get out as soon as possible.
