EMILYS POV
I stood up on the podium looking at the crowd of people. Daniel was standing next to me and my father on the other side. Daniel said I didn't have to say the real reason why I changed my name but I had to say who I truly was. I cleared my throat and fiddled with my hands, "I've come here today to reveal my true identity to the world. I was in juvi when I was younger and I met a young woman named Emily Thorne, she was strong and brave. She was stronger than I was, I was known as the daughter of the infamous David Clarke." I heard a few gasps but I ignored them, "My true name is Amanda Clarke and the one who everyone believed was Amanda Clarke was Emily Thorne and she took my name because she could handle what I couldn't, being the presumed daughter of the most hated man in America. That is all I have to say" I walked off the podium and out the back to the car.

Daniel and I got in the front and David in the back. I was now 6 and a half months pregnant. Daniel had mostly forgiven me for my plan and we had tried to resume our normal lives but with David in them it was harder for Daniel to move on from the secret I'd been harbouring. My father didn't tell us where he had been in the time he was gone but he did say if he could've seen me, he would've and I believed him. The police said they wouldn't do anything about the fact that Amanda and I had impersonated each other because that would cause issues with the public which they had enough of. As we were driving away I saw a lady holding an umbrella and as she turned around I saw her face and for a moment it looked like... No it couldn't be. We were in Chicago at the moment and she would be in the Hampton's, if she was even let out now.

"Daniel when can your mother get out of jail?" I asked him.
"Now Emily? Are you serious?" He asked obviously irritated.
"No it's just be-" I tried to tell him but he cut me off.
"Stop with the excuses already!" He was distracted about something I could tell.
"Okay" I didn't bother pushing it.
We were used to fighting in front of my dad and he never said anything although many times he looked like he was about to defend me in the way a father would but I never let him.
We pulled up at the apartment we were staying at where a sitter was with Charlie and she left when we walked inside.

Daniel walked upstairs and I gave Charlie to my dad and followed him, "What's wrong with you? The last time you were this stressed was when you were with S-" I stopped and sighed, "You're with her again aren't you? That's why you've been so distant isn't it? Huh?! Answer me!" I yelled
"Em, it's not like that." He pleaded and I knew something was wrong.
"Then tell me, what is it like?" I said with sarcasm.
"I can't love you anymore Emily." He said with a sadness in his eyes.
The words cut me like a knife, "You what?" I stumbled backwards, my head was spinning.
I walked to the stairs and grabbed onto the railing and I tried to stop myself from falling but I couldn't.

DANIELS POV
"EMILY!" I saw her fall down the stairs and land on her back at the bottom.
David ran over to her after putting Charlie down, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!"
"NOTHING" I screamed while dialling an ambulance.
A few minutes later two female paramedics ran inside, "What's her name?" The blonde one asked me.
"Emily, she's almost 7 months pregnant." I said with concern.
The other paramedic bent down and Emilys eyes fluttered open, "Emily.. Hi sweetie, I'm Gabriela."
Emilys eyes closed again, "We need to get her to a hospital now!" They put her on a Gurney and took her in the ambulance.

I grabbed Charlie and put him in the car and David went with Emily. We got to the hospital and I ran inside with Charlie. The nurses were talking to David, "We need to do an emergency c-section. We now it's early but it's necessary. If it comes down to it, who do we save?"
I had to think quickly even though my mind was spinning already, "Em... Save Emily!" The nurse nodded and walked away. I sat down and ran my hands through my hair.
